Chapter 10: Avoided Incident
Shouta escorted Sumi back to her room, Masahiko went to accompany them.
"Hey Shouta" said by Masahiko.
Then Shouta replied with "Yeah what's up?"
"I was wondering, do you think I'm a horrible person?" Masahiko asked
"Well I don't think you're a horrible person, you probably had your reasons behind the actions you did" Shouta replied
"Hey, I don't know who you guys are but, you guys seem to care a whole lot about me" said by Sumi
Sumi's memories are still not back yet, so she will also often forget things due to the amnesia.
"Well you are older than us, so it's our priority to protect you, also you're injured so we will look after you" Shouta replied
Shouta still wondering how to get her memories back fully, then Masahiko asked something out of the blue "Hey Shouta I was wondering, why were you running away?", Shouta was shocked to get asked that question, he hesitated to answer that question as it was difficult to explain.
"W- well umm it's difficult to explain b- but"
Said by Shouta
"It's okay Shouta, if you feel pressured about it then forget it" Masahiko replied
Shouta was persistent and kept trying to try and explain but Masahiko kept resisting and insisted that "If you don't feel comfortable answering it then don't".
After a while of Shouta trying to explain he finally gave up.
"You two are cute together, why aren't you guys dating" said by Sumi
Both Shouta and Masahiko were shocked and speechless but Shouta had this to say "W- well we umm we-" and then Masahiko just hits him in the back of the head. Sumi laughs and says "You guys are perfect together". After Sumi said that both Masahiko and Shouta look away while blushing.
"You guys can go now whoever you are" said by Sumi
"Alright then, goodbye I guess" said by Shouta
Shouta and Masahiko left the hospital, when they got out Shouta asked Masahiko "Hey, what would you think would've happened if we never broke up?" Masahiko stunned about the question she answered "Well I suppose you would've been my fiancé by now". Shouta replied with "Fiancé!? I'm only 19 though". Masahiko replied with "Well it wouldn't matter if your 19 or 18, the legal age to get married here is 18, so proposing shouldn't be a problem". Masahiko followed with "I don't even know if there is a legal age to propose, anyways I'll see 'ya soon". Masahiko was not paying attention to where she was looking so she was walking while saying goodbye to Shouta, an incoming vehicle was passing by directly where Masahiko was at, Shouta quickly grabbed Masahiko and pulled her back. The truck driver that was in the truck which was passing by yelled at Masahiko for not paying attention to the road. Then suddenly Masahiko found herself in the arms of Shouta, Masahiko held onto Shouta as she was too shocked of what happened, she was frightened.
Shouta asks Masahiko "Are you okay?". But Masahiko was too frightened to speak, due to the incident that nearly happened she fell onto his arms again, she was tired. Shouta thinks to himself "Oh come on, I don't know where she lives, why do you have to pass out at this time? Oh fine I guess I'll have to take you home then." Shouta carries Masahiko like a baby and walks home, but since Shouta doesn't know where she lives, he brings her to his home instead. After a while of walking Shouta encounters a familiar being, that mysterious being was Hana.
"Hana-san!?" Said by Shouta
"Oh hey Shouta, I didn't expect to see you here, and why are you carrying Masahiko?"
Hana replied
"Oh uh long story short she passed out due to an oncoming truck that was passing by" Shouta replied
"What? An oncoming truck? What do you mean by that? Was she in the middle of the road?" Hana asked
"Yeah kind of" Shouta replied
"Also how can you keep your composure at a time like this?" Shouta asked
"Oh I'm used to these things happening" Hana replied
"You must live in a chaotic neighborhood then" said by Shouta
"Well quite the opposite actually, it's pretty calm where I live" Hana replied
"Then if that's the case then how are you used to these things happening then?" Shouta asked.
