"Eva, how lovely of you to grace us with your presence," he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm once their eyes finally met. "I trust you've had a delightful nap."
As Eva's memories returned, she swiftly sat up, her eyes filled with concern. "How is he... how is X?" she inquired urgently, her voice tinged with worry and apprehension.
"Ah, the love of your life, you mean?" He replied.
Eva's expression turned somber as she glanced at Xylon, sensing the sarcasm in his tone. "I just want to know if he's okay," she replied.
Xylon's demeanor was cold as he observed her. "He's alive, if that's what you're asking," he stated . "But he won't be causing any trouble for a while."
Eva nodded at the beginning , relieved to hear that X was still alive, but after a while she was starting to be troubled by the implications of Xylon's words.
She attempted to rise from the bed to check on him.
