Chapter 19 : Death comes for us all
He's dead, drake.
I keep playing the moment over and over in my head; we were talking, laughing, dancing... it just felt so right, so I...kissed him.
It was a simple kiss. A short kiss.
...He told me he loved me.
And then suddenly he was gone. Disappeared.
I don't know what happened.
I woke up later (two weeks later, I was told) in my bed at the church, to a sleeping Sheri.
She was in hysterics when she woke up, but she powered through and explained to me that there was an attack. A magical artifact that was akin to a bomb. It took out over a hundred people.
Drake was one of them.
He...protected me, and died in the process.
They already had the funeral.
He was dead.
And it was my fault.
Three at once? Miracle, right?
I’ll post soon, let you wallow in the pain like I did when I wrote these. Ahh I’m tearing. This isn’t the last of drake; but he’s gone and he’s not coming back.
The next few chapters are probably going to be hard to write and I know It’s going to be mainly about his depression and might be from
