Kon Drizle was B rank mage who specialized in lightening techniques and was well on his way to becoming a possible lightening Ace.

The man hailed from a town in the Aizekel empires, one of the 7 empires and despite at one time being an honoured captain in the army, he was now a wanted criminal of his empire, one with a bounty on his head, and one whom Leah had decided to personally hunt solely so she could have her students safely observe a relatively high-level combat.

That event had been quite memorable for all three teens because whilst it showed them how powerful and witty a B rank mage could be, it also showed them how easily one could lose their life if challenged by a more powerful foe.

Whilst Drizzle had been there making up plans and fighting to the bitter death even making some breakthrough in his strength just so he could survive Leah, in the end, his life had still been snuffed out without his opponent even having to use close to 10% of her strength.

The event showed the teens how unfair life could be, but it ended there in its lessons for the two girls, the event also showed Tion that his ceaseless training over the past month to strengthen himself was not in vain.

During that event, Tion's Avatar spirit which had always been a dull silent black gourd communicated with him for the first time and Tion couldn't forget the first feeling it had communicated with him.

While avatar spirits typically did all have special specific abilities, these abilities only manifested themselves in really strong mages, mages who were above at or above the A rank.

That his own low-level Avatar spirit already had an ability and one so abnormal had surprised Tion and set him on a new life trajectory.

That he would be fed with the memories of the avatar spirits he consumed meant that Tion could directly harvest other people's hard work and secrets and Tion had no qualms doing that, his first victim being Drizzle's level 2 lightening wand.

While it was rather unfortunate that the absorption process took so long, from the memories he had already gotten, Tion had gotten his hand on a Lightening bow, a technique which ranged between A to B rank, and now he was going to get his hand on a C rank technique called the lightening blade.

While Tion could get his hands on extremely powerful techniques, an S-rank technique being within his capacity, the problem there was that they would require him to have knowledge of other techniques and skills he knew nothing about, whereas a technique he got from a memory came with the whole package.

After Tion felt he had gotten a sufficient handle on the lightening bow, Tion switched to practising the Lightening blade technique, and though he was far from mastering it, after three days of practising, he could now enshroud the katana in his hand with lightening and go clashing against an opponent's weapon without losing control of the technique or his mana flow.

"Man, these days have been quite intense, I wish I could stay and practice longer, but I've kind of hit a roadblock and I'm quite low on food" Tion muttered after he had finished a swing with his lightening covered Katana.

The boy looked to the side of the room where he could have a bath by having a torrent of water pour over him but he shook his head and instead moved to a white wall which thankfully wasn't far from him.

"It's better I have Ciara bath me, I could do with the massage."

Like this Tion exited the white room, the same way and method he had entered it and with a long black katana hanging on his right shoulder he began ascending the stairs.

After close to a minute of walking, Tion was in a wide hallway in his quarters and just as he was about to open his mouth and call out a name, a pair of footsteps sounded behind him.
