The Awaited Dungeon

The spear went deep inside his chest. It didn't stop the force, I kept on pushing it much deeper. I can't take risk of keeping him alive. Then the edge of the sear struck something solid and stopped.

I thought that it might be yet another stone that I have been collecting lately.

I pulled the spear out to collect the stone. The goblin's heartbeat had stopped as soon as the spear touched the stone, so it assured me that I was at no risk. The spear was plucked out and I was confused to see the strange Suprial stone.

The stone was a deep, dark green color, with a texture like that of a polished river stone. It was roughly the size of a golf ball and had a mysterious aura about it. It felt like it was imbued with some kind of power, but it was difficult to tell what.

"Arora runs the analysis" I commanded

"Analyzing the item stone .... ..... .... .. Completed." appeared on the screen.

Then Arora Spoke,

"The stone has a strange power that enables one a greater insight into this world. It seems to grant the user a heightened level of awareness, allowing them to better understand and interpret the events and actions of those around them. It is not a powerful object, but it can still be incredibly useful in certain situations

The stone is also able to sense magical forces that permeate this world. It can even be used to recognize the presence of magical energy. So we can use it to find magical equipment and stones.

This could be extremely helpful in political or diplomatic situations too, where it was important to be able to read people and understand their intentions."

Indeed the stone didn't provide any kind of strength to me but its important characteristics features can't be neglected. It will make my hunt for accessories and items much easier, and on top of that now I can read the mind of my opponent

But I still didn't know the level of the stone. "Arora provides the characteristics analyzed sorted data in the panel".

The data appeared:

"Name: Suprial Head Stone

Level:1

Rank: E

Use: i) Mind Reader

ii) Magic Senser

Evolution: Multiple similar stones can be combined together to upgrade the level and enhance the usage."

I see. So only one stone will not make much difference I will have to hunt for more such stones.

Well better than nothing.

"Arora extract these powers," I asked

"You will have to swallow the stone" replied Arora

I gobbled the swallow with a huge amount of saliva. The changes were quick and I could feel the power of the stone. A new channel appeared on the panel which was specifically related to this stone.

"Synchronize its data with you Arora so that whenever it senses something you are aware of it and so will I."

The stone was synchronized with the system and all its data can now be accessed by me.

I then approached the Throne, right at the center of the room. And looked for the switch as mentioned by the head goblin. It was on the right hand of the chair. Without wasting any time I pressed the button.

The room was all of a sudden covered with white fog. The fog was coming out from the foot of every wall. My sight faded and I was barely able to see what was right in front of me. Then after a few minutes, the fog escaped the room and my vision became clear.

A dungeon was replaced by one of the walls of the room. I took a step forward, ready to explore the dungeon.

I entered the dark dungeon with a motivated heart. It felt like an eternity since I had been in a place like this, and I was suddenly overwhelmed with fear. Strange isn't it, it's my first time here but it still feels like I have been in dungeons many times. I ignored this subconscious thought running in my mind and headed forward.

The second thing that struck me was the darkness. The dungeon was pitch black, and I couldn't even see my own hands. Not a single ray of light came in from outside, and the air felt damp and heavy. I could feel a chill run down my spine.

The walls were made of cold stone, and there were cobwebs in every corner. I spotted a few rats scurrying around, but I tried to ignore them. I felt a sense of dread as I looked around in the darkness.

The walls were damp and slimy, and I could hear the dripping of water from somewhere in the distance. I felt my heart pounding in my chest with each step I took. I looked around for a way out, but I couldn't see a single thing.

In the middle of the dungeon, there was a large metal door. It was rusty and had several locks on it. I could only imagine what was inside, and I had a feeling that I didn't want to know.

On the other side of the room, there was a staircase leading up to the next level. I took a deep breath and walked up the stairs, my feet feeling heavy with each step.

Indeed I wanted to know what was there inside that door but i guess i must complete my main mission first and then proceed with submission.

The main mission was to find a stone that can be used to synchronize all of the powers and senses together with me, making me able to make use of several items with modifications. I can synchronize multiple powers together and use them to make one strong power. I didn't want to miss this chance to collect something this important and thus I wanted to include such a precious item in my "Cache".

The second level of the dungeon was even darker than the first. All I could see were shadows, and I could barely make out the shapes of the walls. I could feel my body becoming tense as I walked around.

In the corner of the room, I saw a large wooden chest. The chest was covered with webs aging millions of years. The webs were covered with a thick layer of dust and rotten bodies of bugs and insects. I walked towards it and opened the chest, and found some ..........
