The following day, we went downtown to the local community. The locals were very kind and hospitable as they welcomed us to their beautiful town.
"You look such a lovely couple." An old lady selling some beautiful flowers on her small stand chatted with us when Nathan insisted to buy me a rose and placed it behind my ears.
"Thank you." She answered her as they continued to walk on the street to visit more stalls and other sites.
After almost an hour of window shopping, he was ready to surrender. I just liked to look around, but I never saw the need to buy things that were not necessary. He, on the other hand, would probably buy the entire content of the store if I said so.
That was something that we had to learn to compromise. Although in this modern time, almost nothing came for free, but in my opinion, true love and happiness still could not be bought.
"Ok. This time it is my turn." He pulled me back to the car.
