The Scene Shifts Suddenly to the Moment of Yukino's Near-Death.
The girl lay in a pool of blood when, suddenly, clear footsteps echoed down the corridor.
Who is it...?
Who could be coming here...?
She struggled to think, her body stiff with the lack of oxygen, her mind blank.
Her eyelids fluttered, as if preparing to close forever, frozen to the cold floor.
The figure slowly crouched down and reached to examine the wound on her chest. Cold fingers slid in, causing Yukino a strange, almost shameful sensation of pleasure.
Then, a voice—elegant and serene—drifted through the air.
"It's a heart wound, but there's still a chance."
Swish~
The sound of a pendant necklace, its cold friction against the air.
A mysterious hand looped the icy chain around her neck.
A surge of warmth flowed into her body, a soothing sensation like being reborn. It seemed as though even the damaged cells in her heart were healing, and she felt an overwhelming drowsiness, like a snake entering hibernation.
In her blurred vision, she seemed to hear a young couple conversing.
"Let's go, Archer."
"Not going to stay and repay the favor?"
"Such a grand favor... you could totally force her to give herself to you. Think of all the steamy, thrilling stories that could unfold."
"Huh...?"
"Yukino's chest and rear are practically non-existent. Definitely not my type. At least she should have something around a C-cup."
The voice of the young nobleman was light and teasing, completely indifferent to what had just happened.
Hearing this "insult" to her body, the girl weakly twitched the corner of her mouth.
She wanted to retort.
I have a chest, it's just not obvious...
But the exhaustion from her body's natural instincts won over, and she collapsed, her head tilting as she succumbed to unconsciousness.
Before her mind completely faded, she caught a glimpse of a moon-white sleeve.
Such a familiar style...
"Hahahaha...!!"
The crowd in the world of the sky burst into laughter.
The flat-chested girl's reaction was so cute that it made people forget her beauty.
Someone pointed at the girl in the image, still stubbornly protesting even after death, and laughed until tears flowed.
"Classic. Girls with flat chests always use that excuse."
"Even if her body's burned in the crematorium for a week, her stubbornness won't burn away. Still saying she has a chest. Hahahaha..."
Sato Kazuma grinned mockingly, feeling this was far more amusing than staying home playing gal games.
Suddenly, the surrounding voices quieted.
Sensing the strange silence, Kazuma looked around in confusion.
"Why aren't you all laughing? Isn't it funny?"
The crowd took a few steps back, casting him pitying glances.
The boy suddenly realized something was off, his face paling in panic.
It couldn't be...
"Excuse me, was that really funny?"
Yukino's voice came from behind him, soft and calm.
"I heard from my mother that Tokyo Bay's foundation still needs a few more support piles. I think you're perfect for that job."
"Rather than being a useless drain on society, wouldn't you prefer to become an elite who contributes?"
"Private Marseille... Private Marseille..."
Sato Kazuma began sweating profusely, quickly dropping to his knees in a familiar "dogeza."
He squeezed out a few crocodile tears and choked, "Miss, I didn't mean to mock you. I have an 80-year-old mother waiting for me to care for her, and a pure, virtuous wife to support."
"Seeing my pitiful situation, can you overlook this little mistake?"
"Tch..."
Yukino snorted softly, walking away with the grace of a noblewoman.
She seemed distant and cold, but in her heart, she couldn't help but chuckle.
Isn't it said that there's gold under a man's knee?
Why is this guy so good at begging for mercy?
Not long after, as Yukino walked away, someone in the crowd seems unable to hold back their laughter.
Thus triggering a chain reaction as everyone around burst out laughing, some shouting:
"Sato-kun, you're kneeling again? HAHAHAHA."
Kazuma wasn't angry. Instead, he puffed out his chest proudly, saying, "A man doesn't sweat the small stuff."
With a flourish, he adjusted his coat and straightened his back.
The crowd teased him further, shouting loudly, "You must kneel a lot, huh?!"
Kazuma's eyes widened in indignation.
"How can you falsely accuse me like that?!"
Among the crowd, his closest friend betrayed him with a wicked grin, saying, "What purity? I saw you picking fruits off someone's tree two days ago, and they hung you up for it, making you kneel for a whole day and night!"
Kazuma's face turned red, veins bulging on his forehead. He tried to argue, "Picking fruits isn't the same as stealing! I was just resting my hand on the tree, what's so bad about that? I wasn't even stealing!"
The crowd laughed louder, the atmosphere in the world of the sky filled with joy.
The darkness faded, and the girl, still unconscious, moved her fingers slightly.
[In the corridor, Yukino slowly opened her eyes, her gaze somewhat dazed.]
"Am I still alive...?"
"My heart was pierced, yet I'm not dead..."
"No, I remember someone saved me before I died, and they even mocked my small chest."
She tilted her head thoughtfully, sensing the cool touch around her neck.
"This...?"
A ruby necklace?!
The girl stared in astonishment at the precious object around her neck, her emotions complex.
Repaying her debt of gratitude was a given, but the mystery surrounding it was overwhelming. She was desperate to uncover the truth—if the powerful purple-haired woman had the ability to kill her, leaving the matter unresolved meant others would fall victim too.
So...
"Whoosh!!"
The familiar attack of a chained sword came at her, tearing through the air and whipping up a fierce gust of wind.
Yukino's pupils constricted, her vigilance at its peak, instinctively rolling to avoid the blow.
"Boom!!"
The thick concrete wall, several meters deep, exploded with a deafening crash, sending countless shards of stone flying. Yukino's face was scratched but determined, Running toward the edge of the window.
"Being too cautious isn't a good thing. It's painful to see yourself die."
Amid the thick smoke and dust, a faint, melancholic sigh of a woman echoed.
From within the shadow, a woman slowly stepped out, her deep purple eyes filled with pity.
In her right hand, the chain-sword glistened, stained with blood—the same weapon that had taken Yukino's life moments ago.
The background music stopped, leaving the scene immersed in a heavy, oppressive silence, broken only by the girl's anxious, labored breaths.
The suffocating pressure rushed in like an overwhelming wave—this was a fight where it was either you or me who would die!
How could a human body possibly rival that of a heroic spirit?
"How tragic. Yukino Yukinoshita... does she have to die again?"
Someone shuddered, their hand trembling slightly as they held a cigarette.
"Rider is ruthless. After finally being revived, she gets killed by a counterattack."
Others inhaled deeply, unsure whether they dared to look at what was coming next.
Now, all they could do was hope that Luo and Archer hadn't gone far.
