Chapter 12 Escape

Edward hurried to help Irene up. As soon as he reached out his hand, he was shocked by the heat from Irene's skin.

Irene's face was abnormally red, and her breath was heavy and hot.

At this moment, Edward understood that James had put aphrodisiac in the juice.

Edward picked up Irene and walked away, keeping a distance from James and Jack.

"Edward, now your fighting force is restricted. Can you defeat the two of us?"

"That's right. You'd better surrender." Jack echoed.

"I didn't expect you to be so shameless. It is my fault to lower down the guard against you."

"Isn't this the rule of this the game?" James asked Edward.

"What's the point of saying so much, Edward? Today is your last day and this beauty is ours."

James said and gave a gesture to Jack to act.

Jack gathered his strength and sprinted to Edward.

Because it was inconvenient for him to move with Irene, who had passed out in his arms, and Jack's attack didn't give Edward time to react, in order not to hurt Irene, Edward turned around and exposed his back in front of Jack, bearing the attack of Jack.

Edward's eyes went black, his ears buzzed, and he was stomach-churning. He was numb all over suddenly.

"What about that? Am I good at vertigo?" Jack said and burst into laughter. His voice echoed in the forest.

"We two take this beauty."

James licked his lips and said in an obscene tone. Then he walked over and pulled Irene out of Edward's arms.

James put his face close to Irene's body and sniffed it inch by inch, with obscenity in his mouth.

"Just look at this, Edward." Then he thought of something and continued, "Oh, I forgot. You can't see."

Jack took Irene's hand and kissed it.

But they didn't notice that Edward, who was standing behind them had recovered. While they were talking, Edward's angel body talent automatically cleared the negative impact caused by Jack's dizzy skill.

Edward used the mad bull collision to push James and Jack 20 meters away, and then he used the invisibility skill.

Edward and Irene suddenly disappeared in front of Jack and James.

"Come on, James, use the skill in the direction they were heading!"

James raised his hand and threw a huge stone towards the target, leaving a deep hole in the ground.

What they didn't know was that Edward had taken Irene to teleport after activating the invisibility skill. In less than a second, Edward and Irene were 100 meters away from where they were now.

"They won't go far."

Jack and James looked at each other and immediately chased towards the only exit of Edward and Irene.

James and Jack soon caught up with Edward because of injury and Irene.

"I didn't expect you to run so fast."

"So what? We two have caught you and will kill you." Jack echoed.

"Then let's see who will die."

Jack rushed forward and tried to knock Edward out. Edward had expected that and he take Irene to the left to avoid the attack. James gathered the broken stones together and smashed them at Edward.

Edward dodged with a tumble.

Just as Edward, James, and Jack were in the middle of fighting, the ground suddenly shook regularly.

The noise became louder and louder, and a bunch of mutated wild bulls rushed towards Edward.

The head of the group raised its head and roared. Then it stamped its foot on the ground and rushed to Edward.

"Edward, I didn't expect you to be so annoying. Even God helps me!"

James laughed loudly.

The head bull rushed towards Edward, followed by Jack.

It was not a big deal to deal with Jack and James, which Edward had the confidence to win. But now that a bunch of wild bulls appeared, the situation turned around in an instant.

Edward was racking his brain for a solution.

He couldn't fight back. The only thing he could do so far was to dodge or to divert the inexplicable hatred of the wild bulls to Jack and James.

He could try to persuade Jack and James to kill a wild bull to see if it was the same as he thought.

Edward got closer to the wild bulls on purpose so that James could beat them with his skills.

One of the wild bulls was hit by James's skill, and the rest were irritated by James and roared.

With this roar, the wild beasts did not only focus on Edward but also began to attack Jack and James.

The two men, James and Jack, who were attacked, couldn't spare other energy to deal with Edward.

Edward finally got time to breathe.

However, there were always accidents. When Edward had the chance to figure out a solution, Jack attacked Edward from behind with a small dagger.

To avoid Jack's attack, Edward was hit by a wild bull.

Because of the collision with the wild bull, Edwards body flew to the edge of the cliff. He quickly reached out his hand to grab the stone on the edge of the cliff. Because he used the angel's wings and the angel's body skill to escape from James and Jack, Edward's fast-flying skill was still in cooldown time now.

As Edward held Irene with one hand, the weight of Irene and Edward was all supported by his other hand.

The blue veins stood out on Edward's neck and his fingers' bones were bloodless as he grab so hard.

A powerful trampling sound came from above.

Ten wild bulls were stepping on a corner of the cliff grabbed by Edward. They wanted to break the stone and let Edward fall off the cliff.

Cracks began to appear on the cliff and some stones rolled down.

Edward's rock was completely broken and his body fell rapidly. He still needed a little more time to use his talent.

Out of instinct, Edward protected Irene.

Edward counted the cooldown time of his skill in his mind. When he was still a distance from the ground, his skill cooldown time was completed, and the skill of the angel body bring a gale.

Each gust of wind was combined into an invisible feather by Edward's mind. At this moment, he was more skillful at using the angel body.

A transparent flapping wind wing instantly appeared from Edward's back.

Edward flew up a little and landed on the ground with Irene.

It was much better to be held by the wind than to fall directly.

Edward thought that they were going to die if they went up now. The cliff was the safest place for them at present.

Finally, he could find a way to help Irene.

Irene was so hot that she instinctively moved closer to the place which was cooler than her.

To lower Irene's temperature as soon as possible, Edward took her to spring to put Irene into the pool. She's clothes were completely wet and transparent, outlining her perfect curve.
