"Has your trusted man in the north sent you a message?" asked Quentin, sitting on the throne of Calden Castle after it had been out of use for three days for the cleaning process.
Dorren shook his head as he gazed forward, watching Quentin, who sat regally in the noble shirt he wore. The man nodded and cleared his throat, fully agreeing with Dorren's words.
"Then what about the soldiers who were sent to Anselm and Murdheim?" asked Quentin.
"We only sent them yesterday, My Lord. They are probably on their way," Dorren replied.
"Have you confirmed that Jaelys and Ashel's heads have been sent with the soldiers?" asked Quentin.
"Don't worry about that, My Lord. I've checked carefully, and everything is just as you wanted," replied Dorren, trying to reassure Quentin that his work was good.
