The goblin disciples

William was stunned and excited, a new martial art meant he would become even stronger. It also meant he would soon be able to leave this place. This was really exciting, he couldn't wait to test out how strong he was in the real world.

He received the martial art and immediately went to train. But when he read through it, he stopped smiling. Learning this would take him years, but at least time didn't move in this world, so it wouldn't affect the outside world how long he is in here.

He also couldn't age in this world, so after sulking for a bit did he finally just accept his fate. The martial art was a body strengthening art. It had one goal, and that was to control your muscles and make them denser. The goal was to suppress big muscles into a small body to keep the agility.

The so-called devil humans trained this martial art, they dreamed of perfecting it to its Legendary Version. In that version, you would be able to have the power of a giant but the body of an average person. This was their absolute dream, but sadly they lost most of their intelligence over time. So they would never be able to perfect their technique.

William started doing a lot of martial arts and muscle training. He kept building up more muscles and trained to suppress them into a more dense form. It was even harder than he thought it would be, but he didn't give up.

He also kept being careful of new traps of the assassin and even found some. But they all were easy to find, it seemed the assassin girl planned to go easy on him for the moment. But thanks to that, William learned a lot about how traps work.

William also took in 3 goblin disciples after realizing that his version of "a goblins arrow" was better than theirs. The goblins trained it a lot, but most goblins couldn't read. Especially because the martial arts was originally a martial art of what the goblins called the ancient human race.

Apparently, there was once an ancient human race in this world. Most humanoid races are evolved versions from this ancient human race. What martial art they trained seemed to have changed the way they evolved over the years.

Devil humans were physically stronger already from birth, but they lost their intelligence only trusting in physical strength. That was what allowed him and the goblins to defeat them in the first place. They never protected their vital organs, making them easy targets for archers.

Normally they would be even with the goblins because their bodies could resist the arrows if they didn't hit the eyes or similar. But William changed that, he was physically stronger than the goblins. That allowed him to shoot the devil humans just down.

There were multiple attacks from the devil humans in that time. But they were easier and easier to defeat for the goblins. William didn't only teach his disciples, but also other goblins too. The ancient human language was the same as his language. He could understand things about the martial art others couldn't.

Because the goblins just found the martial art in the grave of a dead ancient human. It helps them to get stronger, but most can't read the ancient human language. So they could only use the pictures, which makes them train in a way less efficient way than William does.

William helped everyone to understand what's written on the martial art and also taught them about his understanding of the martial art. But he spent way more time teaching his disciples, at some point without noticing, he started to view this goblin village as his actual home.

He spent a lot of time with his disciples. And his 3 disciples Senua, Yuki and Dredgen, were soon the strongest goblins in the goblin village. He was really proud of them and even taught them how to train the devil humans martial art. Of course, they struggled a lot with it, but so did he.

He made only minimal progress in the devil humans martial art in all this time. But at least he made some progress, he kept on training it daily after all. He gave the technique a name because it didn't have one. So he just named it the "infinite muscle technique", he was really proud of that name.

He soon started to see his disciples as his little brother and sisters. Dredgen was an unusual muscular goblin, which made him perfect for the infinite muscle technique, but it also made him not fit in so well with the other goblins. Senua was very pretty, even William was stunned when he first saw her, and he wasn't a goblin. Senua took training with the bow very seriously and learned very quickly.

But Yuki wasn't that much interested in the bow training or the muscle training. She was rather interested in the knowledge about traps that William had. William made sure to teach her as much as possible about traps. But sadly his knowledge in that regard was also limited. But he still tried his best.

At some point William became a message from the system "congrats, you befriended the goblins. They trust you a lot and see you as a family member. As a reward for befriending the goblin race will you now be able to spawn in the goblin village.

William was extremely happy about this, he never wanted to spawn in front of a super dangerous monster again. So having a set spawn point was an awesome thing to have. Not to mention that he would be worried to never be able to find the goblin village again if he just had a random spawn point.

Years passed like this, and the goblin race became stronger and stronger. The disciples that William trained from childhood on were now already 16. Older than him technically, since he didn't age in this world. But he finally fully mastered the technique, he had the power to punch easily through steal, but he looked super skinny at the same time. The technique was successfully learned, at that moment he got the system message "mission successful, it's time to leave now…"
