"Your birthday is next month already. Do you have something you want to do or planned?"

As soon as those words reached her ears, Athasia shuddered inside. She clasped the hem of her shirt and she gazed at her mother with such loneliness. She didn't know what to answer because the nightmares were still coming back to her.

The feeling of emptiness immediately enveloped her, and her mind turned blank. She lowered her head, couldn't bring the words she wanted to stay inside her thoughts.

"Athasia? What's wrong?" the woman noticed her expression.

Athasia snapped back, and she waved her hands in the air. "Nothing, mom. I'm just thinking." 

"Oh," Adreanne retracted her hands and smiled. "It's fine. I don't want to rush you too." she said, standing up. She noticed those papers on the female's desk.

"Eat first before drowning yourself in your studies, okay?" She advised.
