Prologue

On the day before my death, I remembered my best friend recommended me a romance-fantasy game for women. It was about the story of an illegitimate daughter of a Marquis who attended an Academy for her succession of their family name.

I scarcely recall the game's routes since I've never tried playing it even once. But thanks to my friend who keeps spoiling me the details, I somewhat have an idea of its scenarios and plot.

The game was composed of four capture targets, but since my friend keeps on ranting me about how obnoxious the villainess be, I ended up remembering only their hierarchy positions... And thanks to that, I didn't forget the name of the hated villainess that my friend keeps on talking about.

She's the heroine's only rival, the one who attempted to assassinate the female lead, the villainess who will die in the game's ending. She is the only Princess of Eclaire Kingdom, Luna Frances Eclaire---in other words, me.

Truth to be told, I didn't exactly knew the reason why I died, but when I woke up, a system suddenly popped up in front of me which only I can see. It explained that I was inside the game as the villainess three months before the actual start of the first scenario.

At first, I kept nagging why I became the heroine's rival instead of becoming the female lead itself, but when I realized the privileges the princess has, I have slowly accepted on becoming the new owner of this body. And since I don't want to die the same as Luna Frances Eclaire in the game, I also decided to retire as the villainess and started a slow-life in the Kingdom.
