Pranking Scheme

Ellena's spar with Amber finally started. However, I don't have any interest in such small things at the moment. Reading these books to help Ellena are more important than simple practice.

Although I may look oblivious of seeing Ellena's improvement in fighting without using abilities, I want her to learn promptly in that course.

For the whole two weeks, we haven't earned points. It's bothering me somehow, what would we do if Ellena gets to encounter formidable foes in the future. Knowing that this world is basely violent and cored with extraordinary abilities, it is sure that apart from nobles, there are individuals we must not offend.

Surely, I'm not that arrogant that I will let Ellena fight anyone since she has an advantage, but analyzing her abilities obtained right now, she must at least have at the peak of mid-ranking abilities. 

I know that her ability might look overpowered, but I don't mean it that way. I am sure that it is still at its middle-rank peak, and only commoners can see it as high-ranking since they have an inferior perspective of abilities.

Reading these books, I discovered the different type of factions that consist of power. The most known are nobles and royalties that rule over lands, publicly. If you are just a commoner, you should surely pay attention to them so that you won't offend them. However, it is obviously clear that inside, there is hierarchy since it has a ranking.

Even anywhere, it is sure that there are rankings. You can't remove it to common sense. Street thugs have also at least their rankings.

Going back, I learned that there are 'Legions'. Apart from Adventurer Guild where rankings also exist, Legions are apparently private factions. They don't cooperate with the surface world, instead, they have their own world.

I must really have much to learn. I just discovered that stamina proficiency is vast. I mean, there is a path that solely focuses on improving stamina. Since this world is dominated by a power system categorized by runes, the lungs of creatures here are incomparable to Earth's.

One person could stay running for a day straight, without draining their stamina. That hit me, realizing that I was ignorant to compare and inspire Ellena's training resemblance from Earth. Probably, I should limit myself comparing Earth and this world.

Apart from Legions, I also stumbled on knowledge about other high-intelligence species. This continent is just pure humans from what I read. Almost ten books for this day that I manage to gain that knowledge. So thinking of other species would be possible since this world is not the typical alternative universe.

Sighs… That was quite a long read. Ellena's training is almost done and the sun was about to rest.

I should also rest from reading too, despite my eagerness to learn more different things.

Fortunately, this family has plenty of books in their library that I don't have to worry about sources. Since it's almost evening, I packed the books that have been piled in the attic. Thankfully I have been disclosed to others. Although I was skeptical about it, it bore the fruit of a nice result.

I must continue learning about the world. Since Ellena is still halfway to her destiny, I must also find a way to have my own body, that is beneficial for her in different ways.

This dukedom was also perhaps the least of the kingdom. I haven't stumbled on Legions since the first day, if not for these books, I wouldn't know their existence.

Now, it's time for small earnings!

I kind of thinking of a way to earn points. Ellena's system, I, was a fear system in the beginning. Since I just got promoted to 'System Contractor', perhaps I can open a new type of system. But it's just a theory from the name of my job. I'm pixie now, so I should be able to bless Ellena as an alternative.

She's just the purpose of my existence, what can I do about it? I have nothing more interested in my individuality.

Pft. Forget about it! Let's move on to how we can earn points. And I just thought of something unacceptable, perhaps for Ellena.

My plan was to scare a servant. 

Since Ellena has a higher standing, perhaps acting to bully them would be great. Of course in the end she'll have to open up that it was just a prank. Solely for the points as the hidden agenda.

Looking at the surrounding, I saw Ellena's light near the hallway of the ground floor. I immediately rushed to her location to tell her my plan.

Although doubtful, she was convinced that it was a better plan to earn points. What can she do, it feels like there is no improvement here. Since the beginning, her possibility of learning other abilities became slim.

"So I have to act rudely to them. Perhaps arrogant would be okay." Ellena uttered, in connection with what I planned.

"Indeed, it will just be a small prank anyway."

"But I am nervous of it. What if they'll be really scared of me because of it."

"Then it's nice! Unlimited fear points!" 

I was optimistic about it, however, Ellena appears to be not affected by my enthusiasm. Instead, I saw her eyes downed.

"It would be bad. I was just thinking of making evil people scared of me, but not those who are friendly to me."

Ugh… the guilt. It hit me so hard. How can I survive this?!

"Sorry. Then I'll make sure that they won't be scared of you."

"That's more relieving to hear."

And then, we started commencing our plan. It was just a small point, maybe one can be earned from making them scared, but of course, we should be wary of maids being in a group. Since they can travel messages hastily, our victims should be those who are alone.

We ventured through the mansion, there, near the storage room, we saw a servant alone. Initiating the first phase, Ellena acted that they bumped with each other.

'I am anxious, Aaron!'

Responding to her worries, I just snickered before speaking. "Don't you worry, you should be great in acting right?"

'Scram you, Aaron!'

Haha! My tease appears to be effective. Just the right time that she was frustrated with me, she smoothly sailed our plan.

"The- that hurts!" 

Because of Ellena's sudden exclamation, the servant widened her eyes in surprise. Also nervous about it, her hands started to tremble.

Slowly by slowly, Ellena continues to scare the servant.

"What is your name?! You should be punished."

"I-I'm sorry young mistress! Please forgive this lowly creature."

Is that how they should react? From the moment Ellena vents out her fake anger, the servant bowed in knees from fear. Although it was a success, I was ignorant of not checking the gap in status.

I know that she's a servant, but I don't know how they react when they offend their masters. Also, the development was fast.

"Sorry? Do you think you can make me forget about that pain? My shoulder was hurt from the training, and you just bumped into it!" Playing a tyrant role seems to be easy for Ellena. What a pretentious innocent girl! She just knows how to manipulate feelings!

"Please forgive me, young mistress. Please tell me what I can do so that you can forgive me."

Ellena remained silent. I know that she's calculating the tide. Of course, what should I expect of her! She obviously promptly studied how to make people scare because of my existence.

"Okay. Then just die."

Like a blink, points started to appear. Perhaps I think it was late, however, it was fruitful since three points suddenly emerged from her head. Collecting it, I made a remark to Ellena.

"Continue, I just collected three points!"

'Okay, let's stop.'

"Eh? But why?"

'Obviously, she doesn't deserve this situation. It's not worth it, you know. It gives me a bitter taste.'

I guess she's right. 

After Ellena said the final intimidating words, the servant started crying in tears. Afraid of the death that Ellena just spouted.

Ellena, feeling guilty, just sighed. I noticed that she was sorry for what she did. However it was too late, the servant was bursting into rivers of tears.

"S-Sorry. I wasn't really trying to scare you."

Lies! I can see through you, Ellena! You already agreed to my plan. You're really absorbing being a hypocrite, no?

"Sighs… please forget about it. I was just joking, seems like you were really scared of it. Please forgive me."

The servant being wary of the situation lifted her head slightly. To question Ellena's words, she hesitantly asked, "Are you not trying to test me. Did you really just joked young mistress?"

Ellena just smiled. "Yes, forgive my heavy jokes. Sometimes I really want to act as a tyrant master. Really, I'm sorry."

Riding up to the mood, the servant released a small snicker, in favor of Ellena's previous words.

"You're jokes are just too heavy, young mistress."

"Uhm… yeah. Can you forget about this and try not to tell others? I also want to prank them, can you?"

"Yes, of course! Thank you that it was just a joke."

"Yeah… I'm guilty of it, you're reaction was enough."

Seems to bethoered by it, the servant just made a confused expression.
