I Became a Predator in a World of Systems

In a world where every citizen died and was resurrected with a system that bestowed upon them different races and abilities, society is now divided into two distinct categories: Predators and Preys. Predators are the higher-ranked, evil-generating individuals, feared and respected for their power and malevolence. Preys, on the other hand, generate good, often finding themselves at the mercy of the ruthless Predators. Aiden, a calm, collected, and law-abiding citizen of Canada, lived in this new world as an Incubus—a mild evil-generating system tasked with awakening the deepest lusts in others. Though his life took a dark turn with the world purge, Aiden managed to maintain his moral compass, balancing the demands of his system with his inherent sense of justice. But fate had other plans. After a horrific accident left his body brutally destroyed, Aiden's soul was unexpectedly transferred into the body of a wealthy young conglomerate—one who bore an Extreme Evil System. Suddenly, Aiden found himself in the shoes of a high-ranking Predator, a Demon, a race that transcends all others, a direct descendant of the Devil himself. Now, Aiden must navigate the treacherous world of Predators, wielding the overwhelming power of a Demon while grappling with the moral conflicts of his former life. As he adapts to his new identity, Aiden must decide whether to embrace the darkness within or find a way to survive without losing his soul.

I accept the task. Send the fucking dagger!

"Should we remove the sacks now?" someone asked.

Aiden remained silent, but Kyle exploded in anger, "What the fucking hell are you thinking? Want me to suffocate before you remove it?"

The apparent leader gave a curt order, "Remove Aiden's sack, leave Kyle's."

"Klye, you can keep shouting while I free Aiden. I never liked you, Kyle," the person removing the sack said with a hint of disdain.

Kyle's outrage continued, "Who the fudge are you? How do you even know my name?"

As the sack was removed from Aiden's head, he opened his eyes to face their kidnappers. "Aren't you being selfish? Free my hands too."

The subordinate asked the leader, "Should I, boss?"

The scene unfolded in a room resembling a courtroom, with high tables and chairs surrounding a central area where Aiden and Kyle were tied to chairs.

"And, Liam, what did I do to you?" Aiden finally uttered, his eyes fixed on the student union president.

Kyle chimed in, "What! What do you mean, Liam?"

Aiden turned to Kyle, "I'm also curious. But please, stop shouting in my ear!"

The room fell silent, with Aiden and Liam locked in a intense stare-down. Finally, Liam broke the silence, "You can get back to your seat, Reeds. I'll take over now."

Reeds, the dark-haired guy, nodded and returned to his seat. Liam stepped down from his high seat and crouched down to face Aiden, his eyes burning with fury.

"You know, Aiden, I've never liked you. But I need one thing from you, and that will determine your fate."

Aiden shrugged, "I don't care how you feel about me. Just get it over with. I'm not comfortable here."

Liam's anger flared, "You...always looking down on everyone!"

He composed himself and asked, "Are you a Predator?"

[Ding!

You have encountered a lowly request. This request serves as a stain to your name and a dirt to your identity.

Host! You are the highest race; the creature my master had created in his own image. You are above all and cannot be below anyone except of your races. Show this little Vampire creature it place.]

Aiden was confused by the sudden question and the strange system notification that popped up. He looked at Liam, then back at the notification, unsure what to do.

"What do I need to do?" Aiden asked the system, hesitantly.

[System: Simple host. I love your preciseness. Since he's a predator, a lackey of yours, you just need to give him a warning, stab him in the heart with a dagger until his HP runs low and his adrenaline rush activates his HP, and then stab him again until his life hangs by a thread, which is one HP. After this, just simply feed him blood, which you'll purchase from the system, and then take a bit of your blood and smear it on his wound after drawing out the dagger.]

Aiden's facade finally wore off after hearing the system's words. He asked, contemplating, "Don't you think this is too harsh? I mean, he would face death twice, and…it's just too cruel..."

[System: Don't be a pussy, host. You need to teach him a lesson that he'll forever remember and would never go against you again. By the time you are done, he'll willingly ask to be your ally, and if he doesn't, you'll start all over again until he does. It isn't cruel, it's asserting your dominance. I shouldn't tell you this, but you alone are enough to cause chaos in the world, so fuck the other races. I basically don't like the vampires because of their arrogance.]

"Oh…" Aiden nodded his head as it dawned on him. "So, you're telling me to do this based on your hatred?"

[System: No, master. Your interest is in my heart.]

[Ding!

Triggered Task: Assert your dominance. Show Liam, the leader of the school student union and the second member of the underworld association, a taste of death, even as an immortal!

Automatic level up.

Passive weapon: V' Immortal Dagger: From the sets of Immortal Daggers. This dagger will aid you in successfully making Liam a vampire touch the gates of death!]

"What the hell, Aiden, answer me!" Liam shouted, losing his calm as Aiden only stared at his presence since he asked the question, seemingly like he was ignoring him.

"You know…I'm not sure what you want to hear from me…" Aiden said but changed his mind again as he added, "Rather…I mean…do you..are you sure you meant to ask that, or did it slip out?"

"I think you're nuts. Reeds, come beat it out of him. Let's get it over with; he shouldn't be a pain in the ass, twenty weren't?" Liam said as he proceeded to return to his seat but left a hidden message.

"What the fuck!" Aiden exclaimed as he realized something. "Don't tell me you were the ones who killed all the twenty students?" he asked, shock written over his face.

Liam turned his back to face him, a grin forming on his lips as he asked playfully, "You ready to talk now.. though you aren't saying what I want. Yes, we killed them, though the principal wasn't accurate in his count…they were almost thirty."

"You son of a bitch," Aiden replied to Liam while also conversing with his system.

"I accept the task. Send the fucking dagger."

Liam laughed, trying to say, "I mean...you are funny. Can't you see how screwed up this is? With the way I'm seeing things and your behavior, you are definitely prey!"

Aiden taunted, a smirk playing on his lips, "And what if I'm one?"

Liam turned his back as Aiden finished speaking. After a second, he turned back, but different this time. He had bared his fangs, his skin pale.

"I wouldn't have said that if I were you. If you are a prey, I'll suck you dry and throw you to the undeads!"

Aiden muttered, "Then what am I fucking contemplating? You don't deserve leniency."

He grasped the dagger that had appeared in his tied hand. As Liam ventured towards him with fury in his eyes, Aiden swiftly released his hands.

Instead of the sweet taste of blood, a dagger pierced Liam's heart, and it kept going in deeper. A loud scream shrieked out from his mouth, and Aiden stood up with his hands tightly holding the dagger.

"I forgot to tell you, I'm a Predator."
