Chapter 5: The Great Speech and The Punch

" Soldiers Of the First order, For 30 Years we have trained and prepared for the day to bring order to the Galaxy. This planet, this machine on which you stand upon has been used, transformed and forged into this mighty machine by your hands." I said before pausing briefly and looking and then ranks of troops simply watching, I felt excitement and nervousness. Also a bit of temptation too. My voice cool as I continued

" On this day we end a failed regime, The republic. A regime that allows disorder and corruption to run rampart in the Galaxy...As I speak to you now the New Republic lies to the galaxy whilst secretly supporting the treachery of the hated resistance.

So today we shall bring an end to the Republic, their cherished and antiquated Fleet and bring all remaining systems under the First order and as we snuff out the hated resistance....THE GALAXY SHALL REMEMBER THIS AS THE LAST OF THE REPUBLIC AND OF DISORDER. HAIL THE FIRST ORDER!!!." I said finishing my sentence as i raised my voice at my Last sentence though I do wonder if I had said a bit too much out of enthusiasm.

" HAIL THE FIRST ORDER." A loud voice boomed, it was the co-joing and synced voices of the hundreds of troops here. I smiled widely.

" FIRE!!!" I gave out the order waiting in anticipation for the shot to be fired. The troops turned in unison away from me and towards the place where the shot will the fired from.

I could hear it powering up, my fist clenched as I soon saw a large red beam of light blast through the sky of the planet and towards space....it was Beautiful. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in and out before opening it back up....Hail the first order huh. Never thought I'd be shouting that in my life.

Once the magnificent shot was done, I left as I had preparations to do and potential backstabbers to eliminate. Even though it was short, it's beauty did not diminish.

[ Shots firing and Screams ]

" We've got our orders, once we land spread out and begin searching for the Droid. Once We've located it report back to command, arrest anyone else you see and kill if they resist." A female voice sounded through the intercoms in the helmet of the Stormtroopers

Breathe I'm and out. Okay you got this for the first order.k

[ Beep!! ]

The hatch had begun to open and outside was revealed way brighter than inside the ship, there was already fighting happening all around. I had to join, for the first order.

" Move!! Move!! Move!!." I repeated on the comes as I rushed out and began scanning my surroundings. I saw something shooting and took aim, I practiced all the time. I was ready. I took the first shot, I missed but fired a second time which hit the thing bring it down. Breathe, calm yourself.

I fired once more dealing the killing blow to the thing, I moved once more heading for the rubble up ahead for cover, a shot was fired at me though it missed however I heard a brief scream from my back...I wanted to check who it was but I knew better, anyone who got shot and died here was simply not worthy.

I reached cover and crouched looking towards where the shots came from, it was already taken care of and dead on the floor.

" TK-891 and TK- 893 advance Forward well provide cover fire for you." I said issuing out orders.

" Sir, TK- 893 got shot on our way here." TK- 895 said to me, his voice familiar though his message was not, I can't dwell on it. Keep moving I said to myself.

" TK- 895 Take his place and advance, quickly." I said, we needed to secure this place and find the Droid.

" Yes sir," he replied and moved out executing. his orders. Like we were taught.

I looked out for them as they advanced and I saw someone jumb out of it's hiding place and fired from it's blaster. I shot at it twice though I was not the only one who did. The main thing is it got hit and died.

The shot hit TK- 895 though it couldn't penetrate his armour, They took position just up ahead.

" Clear sir." TK-891 reported back.

" Good, advance." I said getting up from my position and advancing towards them.

Just then a shot was fired and it landed in front of then blaster them and their cover away from it's position.

" Up ahead" TK- 896 announced prompting the rest of us to change our paths and quickly seek cover.

" What was that." I asked.

" Don't know, Sir." TK- 894 replied to me

" It came from up ahead." TK 896 said pointing towards the position TK-891 and TK- 895 were previously as their bodies layer lifeless. However TK- 895's hand twitched, I saw it..I may be disobeying regulations but I've been with my squad my whole life..i..I can't just leave him there.

" Get ready to advance." I said to the rest of my squad.

" TK-896 take point." I said to her and then turned to my side.

" TK-898 Follow TK- 896 and advance, provide suppressing fire whilst we advance." I said issuing out orders.TK-896 was a heavy weapon specialist though she didn't want to take a heavier weapon to thus battle since it was suppose to be quick.

We moved swiftly as I watched with a bit of nervousness and they advanced, my throat was surprisingly dry as I couldn't help but glance continously at TK- 895's hand hoping I make it in time.

" Were there Sir." I got the confirmation I had been waiting for and advanced forward.

" Move It!!" I said as I moved and ran towards my end goal.

Quickly as I reached my position I crouched towards TK- 895 and removed his helmet. I could see red blood coming out of his head, he was bleeding.

" Cover Me " I said as I reached for my bandages to cover his wounds.

" What are you doing" TK- 896 asked.

" Helping him." I replied.

" You know that is against regulation right, if he cannot tend to his own wounds then he would be left to die for the weak have no place in the First Order." TK-896 said.

" I know that but he trained with us since we were in the kids, how can you just watch him die without even attempting to help him." I asked him as the bleeding didn't seem to stop, it..it was even worse now as he began bleeding from his mouth and inside his armour.

" Stop what your doing or I will report this." TK- 892 said to me as he held my shoulder.

" Remember,...cough..cough.. Resistance Scum, General....hu....victor." he spoke gritting hit teeth barely managing to speak out the words before smiling as the light deemed out in his eyes.

" The weak shall be weeded out as the strong prevail." I said to myself before reaching out and closing his eyes.

" His dead" TK- 894 said aloud seemingly surprised.

" Move it, we've got a job to do" I said to him before glancing once last time at TK- 895, loyal to him till the end huh. Well now your dead. You were...simply weak.

" You heard that move it" I said as my squad came out of it's position and moved forward, soon we saw the Targets, secondary Targets and my squad joined the other stormtroopers already there and secured them.

By now the battle was over as it became quiet apart from the Tie fighters flying around every now and then. A brief battle.

" TK-338 we have Targets in custody." a guy reported back as we sized their weapons and held them prisoner.

"Secure our surroundings", I said causing my squad to space out and begin watching our surroundings. I climbed some rubble and was careful enough to avoid the fire caused by the battle around me, a lot of this buildings were now ashes.
