Four years had passed since Zhou Xinyi went missing and Wang GuiYing had still not given up. Wang GuiYing was a stubborn one and he didn't care even if it was the devil who had dragged Zhou Xinyi away. He would definitely get the man back even if he had to go to hell and drag him out of there! "Such dedication... Are you sure he's just a friend for you?" "What type of stupid question is that? If he was just a friend, would I have gone through all this trouble?!" "..." "It took me four years to find a lead this strong and I am definitely not going to let it go." He had once promised to never play without Zhou Xinyi by his side, however, now that the only lead he got was through a game, there was no way he could just sit by and watch. . . . “Yah… Who the hell are you?” “Me?” The man chuckled as he purposefully lowered his voice and spoke, “I’m trash. Does it feed you?” “...” . . . With his dedication and his obsession, he would definitely be able to find that friend of his, but there is just a tiny problem... The only lead to finding Zhou Xinyi is a transmigration game... "Oi! Oi! Oi! You can call me Xin.

It looked like the man was hesitant to take the hand that was stretched out forward towards him.

As soon as he heard Wang GuiYing's words, his eyes widened a bit more, making it almost look as if his eyes were ready to pop out of his sockets.

Wang GuiYing smirked as he added, "I'm not giving you a choice. I just saved your life so as your savior, I'm ordering you to help me."

The man gulped as he heard this and for a second there, he looked to be too speechless to talk.

"What's your name?" Wang GuiYing asked as he made eye contact with the man.

The man was a bit hesitant at first, but eventually, he did give a response.

"Xin... You can call me Xin."

"Xin?" Wang GuiYing repeated as he thought about something for a minute before he nodded his head with a smile, "Alright, Xin. Let's help each other out from now on. For starters, why don't you look for a way to get us out of this cave?"

"..." Xin couldn't help but stare at Wang GuiYing in disbelief as he heard this.

"Take this as a competency test," Wang GuiYing spoke as he tried to sound fair, "If you can't even find the exit then you probably won't be able to find the man that I'm looking for."

Xin took a moment to respond and expectedly enough, his response was a simple sigh.

"You don't talk much, do you?" Wang GuiYing asked but the answer was so obvious that it didn't even need to be voiced out.

Xin pushed himself off the ground and looked around, analyzing the cave.

Wang GuiYing quietly walked towards the side and took a seat on a boulder. He carefully looked at Xin and mentally noted down his every movement.

After a few minutes of silence, Xin looked up at the ceiling of the cave and put his palm out forward, facing up.

His lips started moving but although no words could be heard, Wang GuiYing was sure the man was chanting something.

When the chant was done, the whole cave started shaking vigorously. Wang GuiYing tightly grabbed onto the boulder in order to not fall down and when the shaking finally stopped, the ceiling of the cave suddenly broke apart and the debris that was supposed to fall down suddenly started floating in midair before blowing up once again.

Wang GuiYing would be lying if he claimed not to be surprised.

He started clapping slowly and looked at Xin with a nod as he appreciated the player's talent.

"You passed!" Wang GuiYing exclaimed with a wide grin as he jumped off of the boulder and walked over towards the man.

Xin's expression didn't change much nor did he look to be interested in what Wang GuiYing had said, but that was to be expected.

What was not expected was the fact that Xin had a question this time.

"Hulk... Why are you looking for him?"

Wang GuiYing was pleasantly surprised to hear this question from this man who didn't have much to say.

"He's my gaming partner. Is there a need for a particular reason?" Instead of giving a straight response, Wang GuiYing questioned back.

Xin wasn't hesitant at all as he nodded his head and straightaway responded, "There is."

"..." Wang GuiYing couldn't help but chuckle as he heard this direct reply.

"It's been four years since he went missing," Xin spoke as he pointed out, "Why would you still look for him?"

This time, Wang GuiYing didn't hurry to give a reply, and instead, he thought about the question seriously before answering, "He's a friend. A really precious friend that I can't live without."

Xin didn't look like the type to have a lot of facial expressions and it was hard to detect his emotions just from his face alone but this time, it did look like he was a bit disappointed to hear that answer from Wang GuiYing.

Zhou Xinyi was also a man with very less facial expressions and since Wang GuiYing could understand him, he could also understand Xin as well.

Wang GuiYing wondered if he had said something wrong but when he thought about it, he couldn't understand what it was that made Xin look so disappointed.

"By the way, are you a fan?" Wang GuiYing asked as he looked at the man.

"Eh?"

"You seem to know about me and Hulk so I guessed that you were a fan."

Xin thought about something for a moment and nodded his head slightly as he spoke, "You could say that..."

Wang GuiYing suddenly felt a little playful as he enthusiastically asked, trying to lighten up the atmosphere, "In that case, who do you like more? Who's more handsome? Me or him? Hmm?"

"You," It didn't even take a second for Xin to reply, "I like you."

Wang GuiYing was looking to tease the man a bit more but after hearing such a firm response, he couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed, which in itself was quite shocking since he wasn't aware that he was capable of feeling such things.

"I also have another question for you," With his cheeks flushing red, he was quick to change the subject, "Were you the one that trapped me inside this cave?"

"Eh?"

"The shaking," Wang GuiYing pointed out, "The ground was shaking when I fell down here."

"It was me," Xin replied, without bothering to lie about it, "I could sense a healer around so I grabbed him. I didn't expect it to be you."

"Oh," Wang GuiYing nodded his head in understanding and looked to be a little lost in his thoughts.

While he wasn't paying attention, Xin's arms hooked around his waist and Wang GuiYing was easily swept off of his feet.

"What the heck...?!" Wang GuiYing's eyes widened with surprise as he blinked in disbelief, not understanding what was happening.

"Something's coming so let's go back up," Xin spoke, not bothering to give any further details.

Before Wang GuiYing could say anything, They started floating up and got back to the surface.

As soon as Xin's feet hit the ground, he let Wang GuiYing down and Wang GuiYing couldn't help but feel embarrassed.

"Are you okay?" Xin asked, looking a bit worried, although it wasn't very apparent on his face.

Wang GuiYing suddenly wanted to curse at himself for looking like a flushed tomato.

"I-It's nothing," Wang GuiYing awkwardly tried to get himself out of this awkward situation, "By the way, how old are you?"

'It was probably because this man had a face that resembled Zhou Xinyi!' Wang GuiYing defended his reaction inside his head, 'If he didn't have that face, I wouldn't feel this embarrassed! The face is at fault! The face!'

"The same age as you," Xin replied, not knowing what was going on inside Wang GuiYing's head.

"Same age? That's quite convenient," Wang GuiYing awkwardly chuckled and at this point, he just wanted to slap himself and tape his own mouth.

"Convenient for what?" Xin tilted his head innocently as he asked, not being able to understand Wang GuiYing.

'Convenient for what, you ask? Well, even I don't know what the f*ck I'm blabbering about! You stupid trash, just why in the hell would you go and say that?! Stop embarrassing yourself!' Wang GuiYing helplessly shouted in his head.

"Oh my, you're quite tall, aren't you?" Wang GuiYing once again changed the topic as he took a step forward and compared their heights, "Even taller than me."

Xin's eyes widened ever so slightly and he gulped, not daring to say a word.

Only after a few seconds of silence did Wang GuiYing realize what was wrong with the situation.

'Too freaking close!' Wang GuiYing panicked.

They were standing only a few inches apart from each other and because of their height difference, Wang GuiYing's eyes were right in front of the man's lips and he couldn't help but stare at them.

His lips looked exactly the same as Zhou Xinyi's. Out of every other feature, the lips were probably the ones with the closest resemblance, almost looking exactly identical!

Wang GuiYing gulped and for a few seconds, he couldn't take his eyes off of the man's lips.

Xin's lips parted a bit and Wang GuiYing woke up from his daze.

"What are you thinking?" Xin asked.

Wang GuiYing once again gulped as he looked up to meet the man's eyes, "Eh?"

"Why do you keep looking at me like that?" Xin asked straightforwardly, not beating around the bush.

As soon as he heard that question, Wang GuiYing felt as if there was a small explosion inside his brain and it wasn't exactly the good kind of explosion.

He felt as if he had been caught red-handed, doing something that he should have never even thought about doing.

'I need to make an excuse! I need to lie! Trash, don't you dare embarrass yourself any further!' Wang GuiYing warned himself in his mind but what came out of his mouth as a response to the man's question weren't exactly words that were in sync with his thoughts.

"You look like Xinyi."

'You've done it now...! You've really dug a grave for yourself! You f*cking idiot!' He couldn't help but scold himself.

Wang GuiYing's inner monologues are what I love the most XD
