Dimension

I'm a burst of sudden speed that left Mark feeling like the very air around him was heating up he burst onto the scene.

Hundreds, no thousands of the Flaxans were already here. Instantly he dived and at his maximum speed flew through the Flaxans.

It was simple but he was killing a ton, he noticed the Teen Team show up on the scene.

He quickly grabbed a large tank and used it as a mace, he was unintentionally keeping the civilian casualties down as most of the aliens were focused on him.

A sudden outpour of some odd grey sticky substance in his direction made him fly up leaving the tank behind.

He wasn't trying to get poisoned by whatever that was, he decided to get back to his other way of doing things. Just flying through them, the lasers that were trying to hit him were instead trailing him and killing any Flaxan he missed.

Honestly at this rate he's sure they've killed more of their own than he had which was frankly stupid.

But realistically there wasn't much else he should be doing than not being hit and killing dozens a second.

He eyed the portal entrances and got a sudden idea, the Flaxans are coming out of the portal in a uniform line, so surely just behind of the portal is thousands of the Flaxans all waiting to come through?

He grabbed a tank by its gun suddenly and with all his strength threw it through the portal, if his suspicions were right he probably killed hundreds in that one move.

He noticed a suddenly emp like explosion go off and turned to the stationary Robot in confusion when all the Flaxans started to drop to the floor dead.

He thought back to the series, he thought this was the attack when Omni-Man had to get involved.

He dropped down to his feet as he tried to recap the series in his head. Did the Flaxans attack 3 times originally or is the butterfly effect somehow screwing with him.

His plan had been to go into the portal with his father and then help destroy the Flaxans. It wasn't exactly moral but well…they weren't human and they tried to conqueror Earth.

But, his eyes slid back to the portal.

Maybe.

And before he could think twice he followed the Flaxans as they fled through the portal.

He didn't even stop to consider what he was doing as he just flew through surrounding aliens and used a large tank as a ram while he flew through large buildings with ease.

The sheer sound around him was insane, the bending of metal, the screams and the crashes as the remains of the buildings crashed to the floor below.

They wouldn't exactly negotiate peace with him and he could use this time with the Flaxans to train.

Afterall he could spend months in here and it would only be seconds out in his world.

He basically had a one time hyperbolic time chamber.

So he would push his limits again and again. Then once he is exhausted he will sleep in some random cave and start again.

Just constantly training and pushing his limits, well it wouldn't be fun but it would be progressive.

He just needs to leave the scientists alive.

As he flew through skyscrapers that held thousands of Flaxans in them he just couldn't gather any empathy for them.

He couldn't imagine in his head doing it to humans.

Maybe because he grew up around them, sympathetic to them? He wasn't totally sure but he really wasn't needing to have some sort of moral crisis right now.

So he pushed himself even more, pushing his speed to the limits as his blood rushed and he crashed through buildings like they were paper.

He had to admit this type of fighting wasn't fun.

Fighting someone strong one on one was amazing, it was a different type of high and he could only experience it when he's sparring his dad.

This, the genocide hes commiting right now is just training, that's all it was and as he saw an already destroyed city in front of him he realised.

He's already gone around the planet, he turned his body to face his right and then started going that way.

No point flying through destroyed cities, flying through the buildings have another form of resistance he had to push through.

And maybe just maybe by the end of this he can fly fast enough to heat up the air around him and cause explosions.

That scene in the original when Omni-Man can just fly so fast he turned into a kinetic nuke was his goal.

But the sooner he learned that the better, that stuff was so cool he thought to himself as he crashed through another set of buildings.

The Teen Team were staring in confusion, horror and whole ton of other emotions.

"What the hell! That idiot just made this way more complicated!" Rex shouted in annoyance.

"I'm contacting Cecil now" Robot said in slight disbelief. Not that the disbelief was heard through his mechanical voice.

"Robot, your team did good. Lots less civilian casualtie-"

Robot hated to do it but he interrupted the man "Invincible went through the portal".

The call was quiet for a good few seconds before he heard Cecil sigh "How soon can you create a portal to the dimension?" He asked.

Robot responded quickly he had already calculated it "18 hours" he said. "But in those 18 hours time moves differently there, it might be years for him before he comes back" he informed the man.

Robot heard Atom Eve gasp in shock, she clearly hadn't even thought of that possibility yet.

Cecil responded casually "Don't worry about Invincible, he ages slow. He has all the time in world" Cecil almost sounded suspicious Robot guessed but couldn't be sure.

"Okay Director, I will begin on the portal now" he informed the man before hanging up.

An awake but injured Nolan watched the news feed reporting on the Flaxan attack. He felt his eyebrows furrow as he saw the footage of his son flying through the dimensional portal.

He clenched his jaw, his son was strong but Nolan wasn't sure if his son was going to be able to deal with a whole planet.

He looked over to his wife who had wide eyes and her hand over her open mouth, she was clearly distressed. "Hey, don't worry." He said to her shaking form.

She turned on him with tearing eyes "Don't worry! I am his moth-" she shouted but he quickly interrupted.

"Debbie, it'll be fine. I'm always going into other dimensions" he said with a calm smile, he was trying to reassure her.

"Nolan but you're different, he's not-" She tried to rationalise her fears but Nolan interrupted.

"Debbie, he's strong and those guys aren't even scratching him. This report is what 5 hours old, he will be back soon" he reassured.

"He's a viltrumite after all" he said to himself as he turned his head to the old news report. His son better be back, if he isn't back.

Well he can consider Mark a disappointment.
