Swimming class and new ability

"Yo, morning, Adam"

"Hey, morning," I greet Ryuji.

It's been a week since the entrance ceremony. Nothing major happens other than me making male friends. Weird, I know. I notice after the second day ends, I only made friends with girls. That's why my priority this week is to make some male friends, and I did. I still hang out with Honami and the others but I balance it out with hanging out with the boys in my class.

And today is a bit special since today's is swimming class. Why special you ask? Well, we will be able to see the girls in school swimsuits. At least that's what I heard. I'll be lying if I said I'm not interested, I mean, at the end of the day, I'm a guy that is looking for a female companion. Like most guys, I prefer my soon to be girlfriend in the future, to have a great figure. Although keeping the other guys from checking her out will be a pain in the ass to do, I'm sure it's worth it in the end.

"So, Who's your bet?" Ryuji asked me.

"Hm? what bet?" I asked in return.

We were alone in the class since the other's went to change. That's why we can talk without a care in the world, combined with my new ability to sense the surroundings,(Spider-sense but a bit nerfed) so that's I can talk with ease. I awakened this ability a month ago before I got into this school. I am only able to control it a bit better when I enter this school. I have a few theories about how I got this but... Well, we'll talk that later.

"Seriously, you don't know? It's famous on the official site. Apparently, someone posted a link that leads to a site about a voting system where you can bet who has the best figure(Girls) in the whole first years," He explained(I made Ryuji Kanzaki more talkative and open since in the canon he is usually so serious and speaks only a few words)

"Don't tell me... Did you vote in that suspicious site?" I asked.

"Well, it's legit, if they made a fake system using the school system to scam people, the school can easily found that student and expel him," He explained.

He has a point. No matter where you are in school as long as you use the Internet of school, you cannot conceal yourself, even if you are a professional in that kind of stuff it will be almost impossible to hide your tracks, even for someone like me. Since this is a government school to cultivate the students to become the best of the best, they have to have security measures. At least that's what I read from the file my old man gave me.

"So, Your voting or not?" He asked.

Well, no matter what class you are, Class A, B, C or D, guys will be guys.

"Alright, I'll vote, but how do they decide the winner?" I asked.

"Don't know," He shrugged.

"Are you kidding me?" I looked at him with disbelief.

"I just don't know, ok?, the site doesn't have information about that, it only said that you will receive a mail containing double the points you bet if you win" He explained.

"Suspicious..." I said looking at him.

"Just bet a few points if don't trust the site. It's all for fun anyway," He argues.

"well, why not," I said, being convinced by his words.

We chat for a while about who is the best contender for the winner and his nomination quite surprised me. It's Takagi. Well, I will admit she has one best figure in the freshmen. But her personality is s bit... Uh, 'rough'. Well, I guess personality doesn't matter when it comes to the best figures, since we will judge the external more than the Internal.

As for my contender... Well, we'll talk about that later. I dodge every single time he asked for my opinion, pissing him off in the process.

"Hahahaha, Alright, stop! I'll tell you," I said to him laughing while he headlock me.

"It's Honami," I anwer him the first girl's name that comes to my mind.

He's surprised at first, but he regains his composure and begun nodding at my answer.

"Good choice," He said while tapping my shoulder and giving me thumbs up.

"Oh shut up," smashing away hands in my shoulder.

"What are you guys talking about?"

Speak of the devil. Honami comes out of nowhere surprising "both" of us. Well, I already know she's sneaking from the very beginning, I just pretend to be surprised. thanks to my new ability, of course.

"Honami?! Uhm, we were... right, we're talking about the news, right Adam?" He said panicking.

He and Honami are already close(not romantically) that's why they called each other by their first names.

'Great excuse, Idiot' I thought cursing him in my mind. I was reminded of my first impression of this guy.

Ryuji is a very serious man, but when you got to know him, he's a good guy. But he is bad at lying(Not true, I just made shit up). One time when the guard found us on the rooftop. He made an excuse about that were looking for a missing phone or some shit, which made the situation worse.

I have to explain the situation to the guard that the lock is broken and we were curious. After that, we got away with a warning. When our classmates found out what we did, they got mad at us and they have an agreement that we will clean the classroom at the end of the day or when the next class is swimming class when everyone went to change, which is today, that's why we're alone in the classroom right now.

Anyway, I got scolded by Honami and the others for being irresponsible, blah blah blah you know the rest. After that event, we became the best bud.

"Yea, news..." I said while avoiding making eye contact.

Honami looked at both of us with suspicion but didn't say anything.

'Hoh, dodge a bullet there' I thought myself with relief.

"Anyway, you came to get us?" I asked

"Right, since everyone is already in the pool, you two are the only ones we're waiting for," Honami said.

"Alright, let's go,"

Arriving at the pool after we change, I saw an Olympic size pool, but that's not caught my attention, what I saw is the heaven on earth. Well, at least from the boy's point of view.

The girls, wearing their school swimsuits were playing around with each other while the guys... well, some were playing with girls while most were observing from afar, but not in a perverted way.

What caught my attention and probably all the boys, are the figures of Honami, Utaha, Takagi, Ayatsuji, and Saeko. All the other girls have great figures on their own but compare to the 5 I just mentioned, well, it's just that they are a new league of their own.

What especially caught my attention is Saeko. Since I know the 4 girls, Saeko is just a new sight for me. She is usually quiet and all on her own. That's why she didn't give that big of an impact on me. But now, looking at her body fill with muscle, not the kind of muscle you will find in a man's body but the muscle that you would call sexy.

Wait, what I am saying, all you need to know is that she has a top tier body.

"All right, Everyone, Line up,"

A macho-looking middle-aged man, the kind of guy who devoted himself to sports, gathered everyone together and started the class.

"After you warm-up, I want to see what you can really do, swim for me," He asked the whole class.

Since everyone in class 1-B knows how to swim, we follow his request and swim.

After everyone shows what they capable of. He gives some advice for those who are quite slow. Since apparently, being able to swim fast will be quite 'handy' in the future. I guess this is a clue about future examinations.

"Alright, since most of you have the general idea about swimming, I'll have you start competing with each other, I'll give bonus points to the winner with an amount of 5000 points. However, the student who comes in the last place will have to take a supplementary lesson. Get ready,"

'Free 5000 points? Don't mind if I do'

With that, I decided to ace this competition.
