I'm the sister in the sequel

When I was 16, I came across a book that I became obsessed with reading almost every day. I was excited and anxious when I heard that the writer was in the process of writing the sequel. When it did come out, I read both repeatedly because I loved them, just like when I first read them. Dragons, magic, demons, and war romance are all you would want from a fantasy novel. When I got an opportunity to go to a book signing, I jumped with joy to get my favorite author's autograph. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me that I worked extra hours even though I was still in school to save up and go. It wasn't long after I was on cloud nine with joy, but for some reason, I started coughing and couldn't stop even when the red liquid came out of my mouth as I coughed. I don't remember much after that. Most likely, I died due to something unknown.

People of stone

I know that I should go with him, but right now I think I'm regretting it.

"Are you sure you are doing okay? You're holding onto me pretty tightly?"

"Yep, completely fine."

Thats a lie. I don't want to do this. I can also tell that Ichiro knows I'm lying.

"You know that it has only been an hour. If need be, I can turn around. You don't have to come with me."

Nope, no matter how terrified I am, I refuse for him to be by himself to see such a heartbreaking scene. The book talks about how lonely and devastating it was to be surrounded by those he grew up with and his whole family being stone. I won't leave him alone. Even if this is good for me, it will be better for him.

"You're not changing my mind I will go with you."

*Sighs*

"If you say so."

Riding on the horse, the subtle, soothing movements bring mounting worry to her heart. She regrets but stands by her choice to go along for the ride. The darkening day comes along as they ride along the road leading to the place where the people frozen in terror remain.

When we arrived, the sky was darkening, making the sight of the victims of the attack seem more horrifying. So I raised my hand to cast the F rank spell light orb.

"Mé to fos shu blepo so auti tin ateleiotes night. dose mou ena monopati gia na kathodigiso to dromo mou so auti to skotini ora theos tes flogas, theos the fotos Eosphoros."

With your light I see in this endless night. Grant me a path to guide my way in this darkening hour. God of the flame, god of the light, Eosforos.

Light surrounded us as small orbs lit up our darkening surroundings.

"It seems you have learned a lot before my arrival."

"Not really"

I learned that spell to cope with my new found fear of the dark.

"Well even if that's the case you are doing a good job"

Surrounding them as they talk are the now shrouded in light statues of the citizens forever frozen in their state of pain and fear.

Ichiro's face although not expressing his emotions at this moment I can tell that he is suppressing his anger due to his fists balling up and shaking slightly.

"I had hoped you didn't want to see this place"

"No it was our home… I had to see it myself."

Although I am afraid of being here I take a deep breath and start walking to where the wyvern landed.

His expression darkened when he saw where she walked to his eyes able to know the obvious all the statues of the dead were running away from that spit.

"Is this where the wyvern landed?"

"... yes."

I walked down and looked down the alleyway that I escaped the village into the Forrest from.

"Are you okay?"

"not really."

Thank you for reading. Despite my grammatical struggles, I am happy that people read something I created. I hope you all keep showing your support.

Ps: I wanted this to be with multiple POVs and narrations, but I wanted to put a unique spin on it. Hopefully, it isn't a dumpster fire, for how I wrote it. I am the writer and editor and use subscriptions to help with my grammar. I'm so sorry if it isn't perfect. I'm not exactly a professional
