The seas were calm, she was,… swaying gently with the wind's touch.
The waves came, transient and still, yet always there .. rising and falling, as though to make their presence known.
The waves scatter the light, the hues of the water ever changing yet always familiar, always blue.
Although calm, she carries a wave of emotions and history. The air was salty, and everyone could taste it on their tongues.
Sailors and all sorts of people have enjoyed her company over the years.
Ah yes, the seas do birth some wonderful surprises for them all.
