Khaos and Lucifer

Lucifer and Khaos stood alone amidst the remnants of the battlefield, the echoes of their past still resonating between them. The defenders had retreated to regroup and tend to their wounds, leaving the two ancient beings to face each other.

"You know, ever since I came back, I made it my life's mission to find you and stop you from pulling that stunt ever again," Lucifer said, his voice tinged with a mixture of relief and bitterness. "And now here you are, the amalgamation of Lilith and Fang Hua, but truly Khaos—the Primordial Darkness."

Khaos's expression remained unreadable, her eyes dark and enigmatic. "Lilith and Fang Hua were facets of my essence, manifestations of my will. But now, there is only Khaos. I am whole again, and my power is restored."

Lucifer looked at her, his mind racing with memories, "what you did back then, was that really necessary? Destroying yourself just so you could get rid of the bide my Father placed on us"
