"I'm not impressed." He said and Kalina guessed the laughter in his words. "Still." She returned, trying to match his amusement and completely failing. That man had a knack for annoying her, that was for sure. ¿Why? Kalina didn't know for sure. She felt a little stupid about the discovery, but there was something else. Something attracted her to him, that was undeniable.
Somehow, completely silently, Irion and Valian seemed to make peace.
Kalina watched them for a few seconds. They were laughing at some joke the Kru captain had made.
Her Drake.
And to think that, just minutes before, they had each gone for the other's neck. Well, that was mostly hilarious.
Turning thoughts to the mission, Kalina wondered if Irion could transport them. Well, to arrive so quickly at the last city on the way would raise rumors at the very least. Thinking this way, Kalina remembered that she probably owed Her Majesty an apology. So, she turned around to look for Zintia.
She found Zintia having tea in the company of Lala.
Seeing Kalina coming, Lala discreetly got up and retreated towards the courtyard. Once she got close, Kalina stopped in a resting position and bowed.
