"I'm not impressed." He said and Kalina guessed the laughter in his words. "Still." She returned, trying to match his amusement and completely failing. That man had a knack for annoying her, that was for sure. ¿Why? Kalina didn't know for sure. She felt a little stupid about the discovery, but there was something else. Something attracted her to him, that was undeniable.
Eating Berries
Her Highness Zintia woke up a couple of days later. When they almost reached their destination. Lala had been crying with joy for minutes. For her part, Kalina felt as if a weight had been lifted from her shoulders.
The group stopped in a suitable spot for Her Majesty to freshen up and grab something to eat.
Kalina and Valian pitched the tent near some large berry bushes. The bushes were full of ripe blackberries.
"Can you eat that?" asked Valian, as Kalina put some blackberries in her mouth.
"Sure!" She laughed. "These are my favorites. Here, have some."
Valian moved his face closer to her and took the berry directly from her hand. He did an excellent job touching her fingers with his lips while maintaining eye contact.
Oh, well… She felt her stomach tickle and her cheeks grew hot. Those stupid cheeks of hers!
"Mmmm good."
"Could you tell me which fruit you like the most?"
