I'm really in the Doraemon!?

[Note: The system will make its appearance in Chapter 10.] As an average individual, I never imagined that the cliché trope of a truck, often seen in otaku culture, would be the means to transport me into a parallel universe. Initially, I believed that my new surroundings were merely another version of reality, a parallel world. However, much to my surprise, I found myself in the universe of Doraemon—a beloved anime and comic from my previous life. (Note: There will be some difference in novel's timeline and the canon, to have a stable pace. Due to the canon have inconsistent timeline in every episode since it's a kids comics and it almost have the same pace as Detective Conan.) (Read advance chapters in Patreon.com/NewComer714.)

Bonus Chapter: The Dictator Switch

Read my new serializing fanfic novel 'I have Death Note as Grimoire in Black Clover' in my p@treon.com /NewComer714.

In a few days, Nobita and his friends grew more used to Ken's presence. Tachibana, Yasuo, and Haruo were excited about Ken's birthday, even more than Ken himself. But their excitement turned to disappointment when they realized Ken had recently celebrated his birthday in the States before moving to Japan. The anticipated birthday celebration would have to wait for another year. This news also left the others feeling down.

Nobita, Takeshi, and Suneo attempted to invite Ken to play baseball, but Ken declined. Why? Well, he had many tasks to complete. Despite being wealthy, his mom gave him errands, aiming to instill discipline. Interestingly, Ken's system tasks coincided with his mother's requests.

On the baseball field, Nobita hurriedly chased the ball but missed it, allowing the opponents to score. Takeshi was so angry that steam seemed to be rising from his nose after the game, which they lost.

"What were you all doing!? We lost! And by a huge margin! What's wrong with you guys!" Takeshi's anger echoed across the field.

Everyone, including Nobita and Suneo, fell into silence. Nobita felt a wave of fear as Takeshi's intense gaze fixed on him.

"Especially you! NOBITA!" Takeshi's finger pointed accusingly at the bewildered and frightened Nobita.

"Why me!?" Nobita responded with a look of being unjustly accused.

"If it weren't for you, we could have scored at least 15 times! But you missed 15 opportunities to catch the ball, wasted 18 chances by not hitting the ball with the bat, and squandered 7 chances by not running fast enough between the bases!" Takeshi recounted Nobita's performance, his frustration evident.

"That's right, Nobita! Our defeat is on you!" Suneo nodded in agreement, and the rest of the team chimed in.

"Huh?" Nobita didn't entirely agree, but their words made sense, even if he didn't want to admit it. After all, he hadn't even wanted to play baseball in the first place; he had been forced into it. Yet, when Takeshi and Suneo invited Ken, they hadn't resorted to coercion. Nobita found it unfair.

"As punishment, Nobita, you're going to run 20 laps!" Takeshi's voice boomed with anger.

"What!? No way..." Nobita began to protest, but seeing Takeshi's darkening expression and the baseball bat in his hand, he hesitated.

"If I tell you to run, you better run!" Takeshi's voice thundered as he charged towards Nobita.

Witnessing this, Nobita fled in fear, the echoes of Takeshi's words chasing after him, "That's right! Run! Don't stop until I say so! You've got 20 laps to complete!"

After Takeshi and Nobita left, Haruo, who was with Suneo and the teammates, remarked, "Even Nobita has had enough of Takeshi."

Suneo and the others nodded in agreement.

...

When Nobita rushed home, he cried out, "Doraemon! Doraemon!"

Hurrying into his room, he poured out his heart to Doraemon.

Had Ken been there, Takeshi wouldn't have treated Nobita so poorly.

"You simply don't know how to play baseball, do you?" Doraemon stated, which only fueled Nobita's growing anger towards him.

After venting his frustrations, Nobita sighed, "If only Takeshi could just disappear!"

Doraemon, upon hearing this, sensed an opportunity to teach Nobita a lesson.

"Is that truly what you want?" Doraemon inquired, his expression earnest.

"No... Doraemon, do you have a gadget that could help me with Takeshi?" Nobita shook his head as he asked.

"Well... let's take a look." Surprisingly cooperative this time, Doraemon's behavior didn't raise any red flags for Nobita.

"Behold the Dictator Switch!" Doraemon introduced the gadget, producing a small black device resembling a push-button bell.

"The Dictator Switch?" Nobita questioned with confusion, intrigued by the gadget's potential.

"As the name implies, the Dictator's Switch is meant for those with a dictatorial disposition. Anyone who opposes them can be made to vanish with a mere press of this button, leaving no trace behind," Doraemon explained solemnly, though curiously, he was offering this dangerous gadget to Nobita.

Nobita, not the quickest to grasp things, was still struggling to fully understand.

Seeing Nobita's confusion, Doraemon found himself at a loss. Luckily, a fly happened to appear, catching Doraemon's attention.

Pointing at the fly, Doraemon pushed the button, causing the fly to vanish without a trace.

"What just happened!?" It finally clicked for Nobita, who felt a shiver down his spine at the thought of using such a device.

"Do you see? With a simple press of this button, the fly disappeared from existence." Doraemon's voice took on a mysterious tone. "If you truly wish Takeshi to disappear, then by pressing this button, you can erase any person from this world."

Nobita was unnerved, unable to comprehend why his friendly companion, Doraemon, would suggest using such a chilling gadget.

Promise fulfilled.
