On A Sunny Day/Chapter 1

"Having a hard day is normal for Kpop idols" I thought as I sat on a bench close to the beach shores in LA; rest from all the tours I've had to go on with my team mates The Kings.

A very popular K-pop group in South Korea under K Fantastical Entertainment Labels (KFEL) founded by CEO Yeong Han Soo, my father.

This week was meant for us to tour LA and create publicity and draw the public eye on us not just in Asia but the whole world.

But something felt different today for me, like am in search of something that I can't seem to place my hands on: so here I am on a beach side, seating on a wooden bench staring at the blue ocean, admiring the natural beauty of nature.

Listening to my own songs: those I haven't considered selling off to the public yet, immersed in my own creation of words that I created in a time of loneliness and what felt like a time of longing in my life.

"Hey!" I heard a voice call out to me but still lost in thought, I heard it call again this time louder

"Hey, hello!" I turned around in search of the voice that called out to me

"Over here" I heard the stranger say with a smile behind her chicks seating at the far of end of the bench I sat on waving.

"You know: with a beautiful site like this in front of you all you worries should automatically  disappear, washed away with the waves" she told me with that same smile as she removed her sunglasses.

I swear, the sun smile at me with the brightest smile ever, as though blinding I could feel my eyes tearing up in what felt like tears.

"What's your name?" She asked me as I stared at her intensely still on sure what I had just experience and how my heart couldn't control it's on beats.

The colour of her eyes lit up the closer she came to me still waiting for my response.

"Soo Yeon" I told her as I got rid of my nose marks.

"Well Soo Yeon welcome to LA the city of  love and desire if I say so myself. The foods here ain't crappy so I think you will enjoy staying here" I listened to her say with what felt like a rhyme.

"What are you listening to?" She said pointing to my headphones, I told her it's one of my favorite songs; asking permission to listen with me, I nodded in response.

Few seconds into the song, listening to it words by words, every lyrics listened to with more attention.

"You know, the singer must be sad and lonely, deprived of the affection he desires. It's like his reaching out for love but can't seem to grab it, every step forward for something his heart desires, ten backwards into the beginning of where he first began, left alone in the dark" I stared in amazement as she spoke, my heart felt light and sad at those words, like it could break down any moment.

"Knocking for someone to stretch out and reach for him, to help he escape what seems like a hole but just his heart crying out for love" she completed those words now staring at me in the eyes with a sad eyes as we both sat there in silence.

"Your musician seems to be lonely and afraid!" I couldn't help but want to hold out my hands to this stranger who could see right through me.

"But know more. Whenever you feel lonely just look up to the sun and remember that the sun always shines on a new day, there's nothing to be afraid of and loneliness is only a spider web,  it can be cleaned off the surface" I still stared at her speechless

"And you know what, you should smile more" she said those last word biting her lower lip and smiling, a beep on her phone drow her attention away from me.

After she scanned through her phone, she stood up walking away from where we one's sat, I felt loneliness arise within me and I couldn't help but ask at the spot as my foot stood in place

"What's your name?!"

She smiled again at me this time more warmly and refreshing

"My name's Dore, Fedora, and it was nice meeting you today; remember, don't forget to smile more" she said while walking away, my mind felt blank as she left my presence and my heart and mind couldn't control itself and all I could think about is how would I meet her again.

As my thoughts voiced, how I could get her number and my feet motion to the direction she exited from, she was know where in site and every organ of my body couldn't help but feel sad but yet hopeful.

A Sun just entered my dark world creating light for the first time in years.
