Why is that when he was about to witness the fight between mother, son, and the son's love; his beloved laptop that was connected to the tv disappeared? Not to mention his laptop but even the tv disappeared.
His drama...
The angsty moment between a mother's love and a son's stubbornness; the seemingly unrealistic love between a perfect man and a beautiful woman..
Can someone return him his relaxation time???
He wasn't even at home anymore.
The nice comfortable couch he had been lounging on had been taken away from right under his butt.
How it happened?
He really had no idea.
But that couch was replaced with a familiar feeling chair, and a familiar looking desk, with familiar looking utensils...
Gu Musheng glanced around and shivered.
He was surrounded by people seated around him and, they all seemed to be staring right at him?
Various expressions can be interpreted from their faces.
Some were envious, gnashing their teeth's, eyes ferociously wanting to tear him apart.
Others had a look of watching a good show.
And the majority, had pleased smiles and blushing faces..
It was not that Gu Musheng hasn't experienced this kind of staring before but everything happened too fast. And he was severely bewildered and angry.
What kind of high level kidnapping was this?
He could endure being taken away from his home. He could somewhat endure being interrupted during his leisure time...
But what the heck was up with putting him in a classroom surrounded by people staring at him??
What kind of ghostly torture was this?
Not to mention... the whole two minutes he was quietly screaming in the inside, nobody had even moved. Not even a blink.
They were frozen staring straight into his face.
"...is this some sort of prank show?" Like that one on Utube where everyone freezes in the store leaving people befuddled?
Is this what this is??
Did he have to wait to get some answers from his would-be kidnappers?
"Dun-dun-dun, please pick me up~ you got a call, call, call~"
It was a jingle. A pretty weird jingle, who the heck would set that as their ringtone?
A vibration on his right leg made Gu Musheng's face turn dark.
No way.
But alas, it truly was.
Dragged out of his right pants pocket was a touch phone. And currently all the racket came from it. The screen lit up and the phone buzzed as an unknown number was displayed.
"Dun-dun-dun, please pick me up~ you got a call, call, call~"
Feeling intrigued and annoyed, Gu Musheng slid his finger to unlock the screen, answering the call in turn.
Holding the phone to his ears, he spoke, "Hello?"
"Congratulations! You are the super lucky, randomly chosen lottery winner—"
Gu Musheng hung up. Then he took in a deep breath and held his face.
Why is it that even when he's kidnapped, placed in an unknown familiar torture-like environment, a bunch of frozen strangers staring at him; he can't get a break from these scam-like advertising calls?
Is there no professionalisms left? Can he not just get a simple and clear answer from a phone that's been placed in his pocket that's clearly not his???
Is that too much to ask for?
"Dun-dun-dun, please pick me up~ you got a call, call, call~"
Gu Musheng ignored it. Instead he walked around the classroom. The stares of the people did not follow him, which was good and bad. Good that he didn't have to deal with it anymore but bad because he couldn't tell if they were still pretending or really frozen.
Putting his hands on the door, he tried opening it but the door didn't budge. The windows were the same.
Peering through the windows, however, was a different story.
"Either this prank show has an unlimited budget or there's something verrrrry off about this place."
It looked like a campus from what Gu Musheng could tell. It had trees, lawns, benches and people that should be walking around.
That's right, "should", because all these people haven't moved an inch.
"Dun-dun-dun, please pick me up~ you got a call, call, call~"
And then there was that phone.
Usually, there was a limited amount of time a phone would ring and then it would direct the person on the line to the voicemail.
However, although Gu Musheng didn't pay attention to it specifically, the phone never stopped ringing.
He picked up the phone once more and accepted the call. This time, he didn't speak but waited with bated breaths.
There was no sound from the other line, just pure silence until:
"I know you are there, I can see you."
!!!!!
Without thinking, he hurriedly ended the call. Placing the phone far away from him, he sat on the desk. Ignoring the once more piercing stares, he held his face while breathing deeply.
"Fuck, I should've known it was ghosts."
