Chapter 11

" Alright. This is the final phase of the hunter exam and it's a tournament-style phase. " Netero said as he looked at the examinees.

"Match-ups have been decided based on your performance during the exams and the questions you answered yesterday.

Reveal the matchups. " Netero said as the matchups were revealed.

Everyone found themselves. Killua, Hisoka, Kurapika, and Leorio widened their eyes in shock and intrigue at the first match-up.

Gon vs Satoru.

" Ehh?? That's interesting. " Satoru said with his hand on his chin.

Gon just looked excited. Hisoka saw this and licked his lips.

" Wait how were these match-ups made based on what we said? Can you explain? " Killua asked. Netero looked at him.

" Nooooooo... " Netero said with a silly face which made Killua getting marks on his head.

" Well as you can see, the matchups are not fair. The ones who did more in the hunter exam get more chances.

With that said the first match is Gon vs Satoru. This is not a deathmatch so no killing. To win you have to make your opponent give up. If you kill your opponent you expelled from the exam. " Netero said.

Gon and Satoru walked onto the arena as the judge walked up.

" Alright first match, commence. "

Gon ran around Satoru before attacking him. Gon rushed in and threw a punch at Satoru's face.

Satoru just looked at the punch with a smirk as Gon retreated as the attack was a feint. Gon then aimed a kick at Satoru's chin.

Satoru dodged the kick by leaning back a little as Gon fell to the floor and rushed at him. He sent a flurry of punches towards Satorus face as Satoru dodged all of them.

Gon then aimed for Satoru's legs. Satoru dodged that as well when he lifted his legs or jumped over Gons attacks.

Gon sent a punch to Satoru's head as he stopped the punch with his palm. Gon then followed up with a kick to his head which Satoru blocked.

Satoru then grabbed Gon and threw him over his shoulder. Gon headed for the wall, thinking quickly he spun in the air to slow his momentum.

* boom *

He was still moving too fast as he landed on the wall. The wall caved in as Gons feet slammed into it.

He jumped down and stabilized himself on the ground.

Taking a deep breath he stared at Satoru who just stood there with a smile on his face.

Everyone else just watched the fight. They were not surprised that Gon was getting beaten that easily.

Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio were having a harder time as they didn't know who to cheer for considering that both of them were are here friends.

Gon looked at Satoru who kept standing with the same grin on his face.

Gon reached put to his side with his right arm to grab a piece of the broken wall and threw it at Satoru.

Satoru watched the piece coming and tilted his head to the side as the piece flew past his head and shattered upon impact on the wall behind him.

Gon appeared in front of him and threw a punch at Satoru's face. Satoru just looked at the punch with the same grin as he blocked it with his palm.

Gon then twisted his body as he raised his left leg and brought it down towards Satorus's head. Satoru grabbed his legs with his left hand.

Satoru then spun him around and slammed him to the ground. As Gon was on the ground he sat on Gons back.

" Is it really necessary to sit on my back? " Gon asked as he tried looking at Satoru.

" Do you give up? " Satoru asked with a derpy face.

" Nope. "

" Then imma sit on your back. " Satoru said as he brought out his phone.

" Well, he ain't winning. " Killua said as he knew Satoru would stay like that as much as possible.

" Yeah. " Kurapika.

" Well, Gon didn't get hurt as much. " Leorio said.

Everyone just watched as Gon tried to get Satoru off him but couldn't.

" I lost. I giving up. " Gon yelled to the proctor.

" Gon lose. Satoru is the winner. "

Satoru gets off Gon as Gon gets up and stretches.

" Again did you have to sit on my back? : Gon asked annoyed.

" Yep. " Satoru said as he woke diff the arena.

" Alright, the next fight. Gon vs Hanzo. " Netero said.

" So I have to fight again! " Gon yelled.

" Pretty much. Good luck. " Satoru said as he walked away.

Gon sighed as he stood in the arena as Hanzo walked onto it.

' Okay I asked for Satoru, but now him. This is so unfair. ' Gon thought.

' I'm so going to going to kick this kid's ass. It's not funny, Except it is.' Hanzo thought.

" Ready, fight. "

Gon then ran to get some distance away from Hanzo.

Hanzo then appeared in front of him with a blank stare on his face.

" Where do you think you're going you little shit? " Hanzo muttered.

'Well, he lost again. ' Netero thought.

* bam *

Gon got chopped in the neck as he fell to the floor. Hanzo then put Gons left hand behind his back.

" Any last words? "

" This is so unfair! " Gon yelled.

" I know right! "

* crack *

* Gon screams *

" Kurapika imma kill him. " Leorio said.

" Go ahead. I'll bring the tools. " Kurapika said.

" I'll provide the basement. " Killua said.

" I'll just sit back and observe. " Satoru said.

" It may be hard to hear because of the pain but listen up. " Hanzo said.

He then did a handstand and close who's eyes.

" I am a ninja, raised with the skills to do these things and much more. So you can't defeat me. Understand. " Hanzo said as he opened his eyes.

* bam *

Gon appeared and kicked him in the face as Hanzo was sent flying back and landed on the ground.

" You kicked in the face! " Hanzo said as he got up.

" You broke my arm! " Gon said.

" You kicked me in the fucking face! " Hanzo said.

" You broke my arm! " Gon said.

" I thought we were over that. " Hanzo said.

" It happened literally a few seconds ago. " Gon said.

" Fuck it. I'm done with this bullshit. Proctor, I quit. " Hanzo said as he walked off the arena.
