CHAPTER 6

After some time kilua said," Hey, look gon's here."

"Yeah, let's go to him.", I responded. Then we went towards them.

"Hey, Gon.", called Killua to Gon.

"you didn't get injured right Gon?", I asked him.

"No Mia I'm fine.", Gon replied.

"I was starting to think u weren't gonna make it here or didn't make it at all.", said Killua.

"I just followed the trail of Leorio's cologne.", Replied Gon.

"You tracked his cologne? Man Gon ur really weird huh.", said Killua shocked.

"Gon from now on I think I should call u doggy too.", I replied laughing.

"huh? Why?", asked Gon.

"cause ur nose is a like dog's nose.", I replied.

"and u'll both be kitty and doggy.", I said giggling.

"huh? When did I agree to be called kitty u blackie?", asked Killua.

"well, u didn't say no so I decided to call u kitty.", I replied then ran towards the gate not giving him any chance to argue.

"Excellent work everyone the 2nd phase will take place here in the Viska forest park so I shall now take my leave I wish u all the very best of luck." Said Satotz. Then went marching towards the forest again.

Then the big gate ahead opened and we saw many kitchen counters with a big mansion and two people the woman having turquoise colored hair said," All the applicants please enter I'm Menchi ur examiner for the 2nd phase." And the big guy said," and likewise am Buhara."

All of a sudden we all heard the sound of a hungry stomach.

"sounds to me ur getting hungry.", said Menchi to Buhara.

"Not just hungry I'm famished.", replied Buhara.

"Well, there u have it the 2nd phase will be cooking.", said Menchi.

"wait, Cooking?", someone asked disbelief in his voice.

"What do u mean by cooking we came here to take the hunter exam not to cook?", asked a fat contestant.

"That's right the 2nd part of the exam will be preparing the meal that'll satisfy our pallets.", said Menchi smiling."

"Why do we have to cook?", he asked.

"well, it's simple really because we're gourmet hunters.", replied Menchi proudly.

Then many of the contestants laughed mocking them. Menchi looked mad.

"Today's required ingredient will be pork feel free to use any species of pig in the Viska forest as u see, u'll use these cooking facilities to prep the pork dishes to pass the exam u have to create a dish that will satisfy our discriminating pallets.", said Buhara.

"But won't be evaluating taste alone so take this seriously is that clear? When both have eaten our fill this exam will be over.", said Menchi.

Then we all went to find pigs.

"We just have to cook a pig huh? So easy than running.", said leorio.

"I hope it's that simple.", replied Kurapika.

Then Gon started sliding down the slope I followed him too.

"weeee uhg Gon why'd yo…", I couldn't finish because Killua bumped into me then Kurapika and Leorio.

"What the hell do u think ur doing gon?", angrily asked Killua.

"I found them.", said Gon.

"pigs", said leorio.

"But they are chewing on bones.", I said.

"Don't tell me they are carnivores", said kurapika.

"run", I shouted.

We ran while those pigs were chasing us. I went to the other side than them then teleported on its snout and kicked its forehead hard.

*squee thud*

Then that pig dead fell on its back I easily dragged it using 'BLUE' to pull it towards me lightly then when I got near them I shouted," Hey, guys its forehead is its weakness!"

Then all of them attacked one after another caught a pig for themselves then we all went back.

'Hm, how should I cook it? well, first let me separate the meat. Ok now what, oh! I can make that I remember the recipe but I don't know how it'll turn out to be.' I thought.

First I Cut the pork into 1″ cubes then I Sautéed it over medium-high heat in a pan with the vegetable oil, until the pork is cooked through. I then mixed the sauce ingredients in a bowl, poured the prepared sauce over the pork, and brought it to a boil. Reduced the heat to a simmer and braised for 30 minutes until most of the sauce was reduced. Stirred it to coat each piece of pork in sauce and then garnished it with green onions.

'Hm, it looks good I'll taste it first it's a little salty for my taste hope they'll like it.' Just as I was thinking that, Killua came and ate a piece and said after licking his fingers, "Hm, it is edible."

"kitty! Don't eat it I am going to serve it to those examiner there's more in that pan eat that, all right.", I told him while evading his hands that were attacking my dish.

"All right", he said and then started to eat the leftovers.

"Geez, I'm going to serve the dish.", I informed Killua then walked towards the examiners.

(all of the main cast have already served their dishes.) "Here, is my dish hope u'll like it.", I said then served them the dish I cooked. Buhara immediately ate it showed me thumbs up but Menchi said." There's more salt than needed so u fail sorry try again next time."

"Okay.", I said then went towards my counter I didn't cause Ruckus because I knew we'll have 2nd chance.

"Mia u failed too I thought u'll pass seeing that amazing dish.", said Gon.

"Menchi said it had more salt than needed.", I replied.

(all this was happening when Menchi was announcing they all failed the test.)

"But Killua eat all of th.." Just as Gon was saying that a person fell from the sky and said." Don't u think it's overboard to fail all of them?"

It was the chairman Isaac Netero then it was agreed that will redo the 2nd phase with Menchi participating this time in a place called the split mountain then we all boarded the airship.

'Why did I do all those extra work and made an edible dish I should have roasted the pig like others did.', I thought after boarding the ship.
