As I looked around the room I couldn't help but feel proud. My team was not only coming along but they were also people I could trust.
"So why did you call us here, Alexander?" my Grandfather asked as he looked at my husband who was standing behind me.
To our Grandfathers symbolism was everything and Alexander putting me at the head of the table with him behind me was a sign of a united front and a sign that I was in charge, of everything.
"Riley, if you would," he said giving his cousin a nod.
Riley flashed a list of companies on the screen and I recognized them almost immediately.
"Those are companies bought under our noses," Grandpa Luther said as he scanned the list. "Not all of them, but I recognize several. I can't forget some of them because of how crucial they were to several expansion plans."
"Did their purchases set back your plans by years?" Grandpa Alain asked.
