Morning Gossip

I left the house furious at Lex.

When I made my way to breakfast I was dreading the barrage of questions I would get not only from my Grandfather but also from our other relatives who called the manor home. But to my surprise no one said anything. 

We had breakfast as if I hadn't spent the night with my fiancée or that I wasn't on the front page of every newspaper in the country. 

Lex didn't even bother to show for breakfast, adding to my peaceful morning before I finally headed to the office.
