When Anita and Natalia were thrown to the wall, their blood was drained, their faces froz.
The second queen collapsed.
The queen had a blank reaction on her, as if it was not her first time something like this had happened, same as the king and his father.
The view was covered by the guards.
The second minute the people in the throne room looked towards the door as two guards entered and carried Lucy and Martha of the third House.
Their mother was not french because the old man looked at her as if it was a silent, 'if you move or say anything I will kill you.' so she was afraid.
The girls did not put on the long dresses like the two sisters, and someone could see their legs since they were carried like a chicken, which was being taken to a slaughtering house.
The girls cried and tried to strangle but it was no use.
Just like the twins, the two sisters were thrown to the wall and several arrows flew at them.
Soon the view was created,as the guards move ñd standing on the sides, the girls faces had tuned Pell, several arrows sticked there croths to the wall, the dress's shoulder had three arrows in each, from the Brest to the regs, where arrows in a straight line and there legs where apart from each other six arrows between, turning a dress into a mechanic worksult.
It was quite a sin since they four were hanging on the wall.
Natalia opened her eyes slowly when it quietened down, she had closed her eyes area and accepted death but 'no way, are we crucified?' she asked, not particularly anyone but herself.
She looked on the other side and looked at her eyes with her sister, tears streaming down, "sister are we going to die?"she asked sniffing the air around her.
"No we can't die, don't Worry it's just a punishment" said Anita, Natalia forded her fingers into a brow, if they can give her a chance to come down, she was going to kill that bastard they call grand pa.
The old king looked at his daughters in law
Kneeling down, except the queen, "it's your duty to educate the girls but you neglected your jobs. What punishment can I give you?" The man asked wickedly.
The queen looked at the two then she went over and knelt down, "father punish me as well," she requested bravely, everyone's face froz.
"What?" King Chikwa II said moving quickly to his wife's side " my queen, what are you doing?" He asked, angry, someone could see his veins showing.
" If the kids have made a mistake and been punished like that, as a mother I am responsible for their teaching," she said emotionlessly.
"Are you crazy? those girls have their mother's I ..."
Before the king could finish talking, the queen shed some tears, and looked at him with sadness clearly written "you mean am not responsible for this?" She asked and the king came closer to her.
"No dear I did not mean that, you are with the prince of Chikwa, how can I let them kill him?" He asked.
"Prince of Chikwa?" The old king asked to move towards her.
The queen looked at him and nodded, and when she saw a smile on his face, she became even more angry " but am not selfish," she said and the old man looked at her coldly "what do you mean?" He asked
"The prince is as important as his elder sisters, if I can't even protect the girls I teach and shift the blame to others, how am I going to raise a good son, I understand that they need to be punished because they did wrong, but I can let the blame fall to their mother's, am the one who is always with the girls, please father punish me." She said her head down.``
The old king wanted to be angry but himself, the thought for a while, then he turned cold looking at his son.
"Why didn't you tell me, we are having a prince?" His son was relieved and and like an officer "I apologize general" he bowed. To his father there was no excuse even if he was the one in the wrong.
"What are you still doing? Take your wife to her room!" He shouted and the king took his wife.
As they were living he had him dismiss the other wives "go to your rooms too."
The women breathed a sigh of relief and bowed, following the king.
"How long are the kids going to be there?" She asked "please my queen, I don't want you to get hate, am sure father will let them go soon" he said, 'i hope so' in his heart.
On grandma Margate's side things were going well. The boy, named Sammy, was great; he brought her materials to use almost every day.
Sammy was from a well to do family, his father had 300 cows, 500 goats, and other domestic animals, but the boy had cattle of his own too, so it was easy for him to help out.
"Why do you usually help Sammy?" She asked because the boy refused to get any money from her.
"I want to marry Faith when she grows up" he said directly to her without any hesitation.
"But what if she chooses someone else, as you know as women have our own liking for men?" She asked.
Sammy looked disappointed the looked at the girl then at the mother "no she won't," he said smiling
Margaret thought for a while looking at him "if she doesn't choose you, you have to give up on her ok?" She said seriously and the boy nodded, but in his heart he thought 'i will make her my own'
Margaret took Faith with her to the market to sell her items she had made in a few days.
As she was walking she had women gossiping.
[ I feel bad for the Princess, how can their grandfather crucify them to the wall] a woman said.
[Yes even if they did wrong, why do this to the kids?] Another said
"I had they just laughed, then he did that, am sure he is a bad man" a young woman in her twenties said with a pitiful look.
Margaret did not stop; she kept moving, ' how did the people know what had been happening in the palace?' she thought.
Then she had "the Queen's where about to be punished, thank God the old queen stood up for them," another woman said
"Yes I also had she is finally pregnant, such a good woman, she deserves the best," another comment and they laughed.
"Gland ma Margate please wait let me take a looked at your work, my husband asked me to buy some basket for the harvest" a woman in a blue chitenge material walked to her she was thin, coffee brown skin she wore a slipper on her feet and covered her head with a cotton hat.
Margaret stopped waiting for her and a man carrying her things also stopped.
Soon the women gathered, choosing the baskets if they chose. "Did you hear what happened to the palace?" One of the gossiping women asked.
"I think it's best to let the royal family handle their own problems," she said and kept quiet. After that sentence nobody said anything, not because they were scared of Mama Margaret's word but because they knew if someone reported them? They will be dead no doubt.
It was almost lunch time when she was preparing to go home, "can I help you carry those?" A boy asked politely when he saw Margaret straggling, "yes please" she said to the boy and helped her carry a big basket with food that Margate had just bought.
As they went he asked " can you come to your home and help you around?" What do you want in return" she asked. She was scared, if this boy wanted to marry her daughter again she would not allow it. She was planning to stop Sammy from helping her for this, but the boy's answer made her stop on the track.
"I just wanted to help, people don't like me because I have no parents, when I was ten my mother did and this year I turned twelve my father died two in February." He said.
He looked at Margate and said "I am lonely so if you allow me to come over I promise to take good care of you and the little baby" he sounded like a grown man for a minute that was the reason she stopped walking.
"You just want company" she asked, and the boy shook his head "no I just want to do more good so that when I get sick people can look at me " he said smiling, the boy was strange. How can he say that?
