Journey to the unknown path

Cheng encouraged Frank to waddle some distance forward. Frank said to halt, and they sat on the short wall of a park. The kids were fiddling, the old men were exercising tai chi. The surrounding was friendly. Frank ascent down and washed his face in the shower of the park.

He sat on the short wall again.

"So Cheng, you helped me this time. I am thankful to you. What will you do now?"

"I don't know yet. You know I am afraid of the lights burning my skin. There I remained inside for several years. And if here I do any work, I will never survive." Cheng said, and tears trickled.

"That's deplorable. Ok, I will help you. I know you're potentially strong." Frank said. He stared at his forehead. It was changing color.

"I am feeling weak, I need rest," Cheng said.

"If you are allergic to sunshine, do you have any solution to be safe?"

"I can't tell you. "

"Why? I am your fellow."

"To be safe, I require blood," Cheng said.

"To suck the blood and if then whom?" Frank said with shock.

"Blood of the white-winged horse."

"What! White-winged horse! How you will find it?"

"I can find it at the Red mountain outside the world. Where no one goes."

"Did you ever do so?"

"Yes, before ten years with my father."

"Did you find it? "

"I found it, but I was seized by dozens of archers, and they killed my father. I was asked to flee the way."

"You saved, and probably you had never drunk its blood," Frank said, and then he thought about something and then budged slightly.

"You don't need to do so. You can trust me, though I am a vampire, my brain, and heart are normal like yours."

"Oh, sorry I made you sad. If you require my help. I can. But one thing that irritates me is that, do you have any other options for your survival than killing the horse."

"You are mistaken. Horses never die. I am not a slayer. They get injured and then quickly their wounds heal. It's a very reluctant thing. What can I do?"

"Alright, I can understand, how you will live now?"

"After this week I shall go to Red Mountain. It is a difficult task. But I have to confront the danger." Cheng said and stood up. He turned around opposite to the sunlight. Frank saw that his backside was scorching with heat.

"Now you should go," Frank said.

Cheng had very thin apparel like silk, and he put it on his body. He covered his head and face with a black scarf.

"It will save me from sunlight for some time and from the enemies."

Frank was glad and shook his hand, and then they left for their home. Frank often looked at him until he got on a bus.

When Frank arrived home, Mr. Lee Chan was waiting for him.

"Hello, uncle, how are you? Is there any matter?"

"You know we have got the sign of the mayor, and he would help us. Tomorrow Tony Lee would be arrested and your uncle's funeral will be carried out.

" Glad to hear it. I hoped it will happen once." Frank said and tried to utter something, then he stopped. He knew only a thing like nothing will take place with Tony Lee. They don't know his power.

"Alright, if you have a problem with anything you can surely ask me. Goodbye."

Mr. Lee Chan left the place, unknown of the power and connections of Tony Lee. Frank was afraid though he killed his uncle, he is a felon, yet he cares for the life of others and Tony could harm anyone.

Cheng had no plan of where to stay or whom to ask for help, yet he didn't become afraid and went on his journey. Frank knew he should help him, but after the funeral of his uncle. He spent the whole night with fear, sadness, and depression. The over tension made him feel weak and no hunger. Neighborhood Auntie Mrs. Sami gave him a loaf of bread and mutton. He put it on the table and confirmed to her, he would take it at night. At midnight, he dropped off and the darkness, pacification, didn't arise to him earlier. He woke up when Mrs. Sami brought a cup of coffee, and toast for him.

"If you need more, don't hesitate," Sami said with a smile.

"Thanks, aunt, please sit."

"Don't mind, start your breakfast."

Frank's phone rang, and he picked up, it was from Lucy. She said to Frank to leave home soon, as the gangster was coming to kill him. He became feared and confused but hid his expression.

"Mrs. Sami, I have an urgent piece of work, I have to go now," Frank said and coughed lightly. The sweat glimpsed from his face made Sami think, but she went out once looking at him back. Frank smiled, and then he packed his useful apparel with useful accessories, including the phone. He went directly to Lucy, who was standing under a bridge in an isolated area. She also had a luggage bag and all the useful accessories.

"What's the matter?" Frank asked.

"You don't know they are behind you. Your life is in danger."

"Then where can I go? I have no money to live in rent."

"We have to adjust, to my understanding we have to live in the forest. They can't find us."

"Are you mad? In the forest!"

"Of course, you know not only Tony lee will send his man to kill you, but orcs of Darius will change their form and move on the road to explore you."

"What if they found us in the forest? Do you confirm there we will have no peril, ?"

"Lucas Miss knows a man who has profound knowledge of the forest, and he is also a martial artist. He has a cabin that we will have. At times, he will also protect us."

"I don't know what we have to suffer, and what can we do."?

"Look, there is one option left like do or die." Lucy consoled.

Both hired a taxi and arrived at a forest. They had all useful commodities and hands full of dollars. It was heavy and to go on foot with it was a bit cumbersome.

"You know we can't go ahead with this luggage," Frank said.

" Don't worry when we become lost in this forest. We shall meet Mr. Hugo. He will help us. Now go ahead before anybody sees us."

They went ahead, crossing bushes laded with thorns, and heard a wolf howl and a chirping of birds. On the way, they met a python that tied to the branches of the tree. Lucy took out a sword when she sees it. Frank conveyed her to stop as it will not harm them. When they were seized among big trees enough, far away from the road. They stopped.

"Are you sure Mr. Hugo will be here?"

"Of course, you can't know when he can come. " Lucy said.

"If you wish, you can sit and take a rest."

"Do you assume me a child?" Frank boasted and threw a stone at a wolf that was hiding behind a bush.

"Superb aim." Mr. Hugo came with a horse cart and laughed." I know you are very brave, now get on the cart and go with me to my place."

Lucy bowed her head before him and said, "You are great how you appeared so suddenly, we are very shocked."
