Robotic voice

After the woosh, blood sprayed everywhere. The white rabbit hung on a nearby tree, with a spear extending out of its mouth, already long gone.

"Congratulations on killing the creature Fanged Rabbit. Harvest its life soul to consume its qi." A robotic voice sounded in Sora's ears.

'Wait... what?' Sora thought with many questions popping up in his head simultaneously.

'The old man didn't tell me about this. Why does it sound so similar to the voice that teleported us here? Maybe everyone hears this announcement.' Sora thought, rather confused.

"Gosh, I feel like I've only attained more and more questions since this all started. This announcement sounds like the one that teleported me; the entire situation with the old man was just weird, and why was my 'status' filled with unknowns?" Sora thought aloud, thoroughly confused.

"Recognized keyword 'status', would you like to open 'status'?" The robotic voice sounded again.

'Isn't that what the old man showed me earlier? Didn't he say that the stone was rare?' Sora thought, confused.

After a small moment of consideration, Sora eventually opened his lips and said, "Yes."

Immediately after Sora's answer, another panel or window popped up before Sora. However, this one seemed slightly different compared to the one the old man had shown him.

"It looks sort of like the one the old man gave me..." Sora thought out loud.

"But why did some of the unknowns change to locked and one not? Zen physique?" Sora kept on rambling out loud.

"How did I end up with more questions after looking at my status again?" Sora asked saddened.

"Detected keyword 'status' would you like to open 'status'?" The robotic voice sounded with the exact same sentence as earlier.

"No god, are you going to ask me this question every time I say the word 'status'?" Sora beckoned, annoyed.

"Detected keyword 'status' would you like to open 'status'?" The robotic voice sounded.

'Is it trying to make fun of me or something? Because it's definitely working. What's with this thing, and can other people hear it too, or is it only in my head?' Sora thought, left with more questions than answers yet again.

'Maybe it could be useful; what would happen if I asked for the different keywords.' Sora thought, happy with the idea.

"Could you tell me about the other keywords?" Sora said, holding his thumbs.

However, as one could guess, the robotic voice didn't utter a sound.

"Come on, man, are you really going to be completely useless except for the whole 'status' thing?" Sora complained, looking up at the sky.

"Detected keyword 'status' would you like to open 'status'?" The robotic voice sounded.

As the robotic voice was talking, Sora lost interest in this useless thing in his head, turning to his left and shifting his attention towards the rabbit hanging out.

'Well, the old man told me about the life souls; let's hope the old man didn't lie about everything,' Sora thought, not having given up all his hope for the old man's knowledge.

'Wait, the old man never told me where the life soul is found. I swear to god if I find that old man in the future, I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind.' Sora thought, equally annoyed as Karens back on earth.

"Well, I guess I'll be eating rabbit stew since I have to cut this little guy into pieces to find his life soul." Sora commented, looking over to the rabbit hanging about with a menacing smile appearing on his face.

Taking the spear out of the rabbit's mouth, Sora proceeded to chop the white rabbit into bite-size pieces using the head of the spear. Starting at its legs, when Sora eventually got to the stomach, he chopped into something hard. However, it didn't feel like the regular bone he had been chopping around earlier; this one felt sort of like a hard rock.

'Is this what the old man had been talking about?' Sora thought while pulling a white crystal out of the rabbit's corpse.

"Detected key component 'Life soul', Do you want to use it to speed up the skill 'Qi meditation'?" The annoying robotic voice sounded, this time with a different sentence.

'Speed up-skill 'Qi meditation'? What is that supposed to mean?' Sora thought, confused, hearing the robotic voice again.

'It actually said a different sentence. Maybe I should accept and reward it for its evolving vocabulary.' Sora contemplated.

"Yes," Sora replied after a moment of thinking.

"Speeding up-skill 'Qi meditation', you can now start using the skill." The robotic voice responded with its normal cold-sounding voice.

After the robotic voice sounded again, the white crystal started shining.

'Well, how do I use the skill?' Sora thought, slightly panicking.

The next moment the shining white crystal started dissolving into a white mist that spread around Sora.

'The old man told me that you have to suck the qi out of the life soul, then maybe focusing on sucking the qi out of the air would give the same results.' Sora thought while sitting back down.

Sitting down, Sora closed his eyes and focused on sucking the qi in, and to Sora's surprise, something actually happened. A fantastic feeling ran through Sora's body when a warm gas traveled through Sora's skin into his meridians.

'Wow. This feels amazing.' Sora thought, entirely entranced by the beautiful feeling.

The qi kept swirling, all of it going in the same direction, the stomach. After the initial qi wave got close to the stomach, it swerved to the left and swirled its way inside the dantian, right next to the stomach.

The qi felt like a fluffy cloud inside Sora's dantian, almost like cotton candy. Even though it felt like a cloud of sorts, it started giving Sora a lot of energy, making him almost sporadic.

After a few minutes of this feeling, Sora started to feel trapped, almost like he was about to burst. Quickly opening his eyes, Sora stopped trying to suck in the qi and took a moment to catch his breath.

"God, why did it start to hurt?" Sora exclaimed out loud, shocked.

"Threshold reached. Would you like to start the process of breaking through?" The robotic voice sounded with another question.

'Breakthrough... The old man had also mentioned that. It was when you level up your dantian, right?' Sora thought while contemplating his options.

After a long silence, Sora eventually opened his lips and said, "Yes."

Immediately after the word left the tip of Sora's tongue, the gassy substance swirling around in Sora's dantian started compressing and compressing until it eventually turned into a tiny droplet of pure energy lying on the floor of the dantian.

"Formed 'Qi droplet', you may now fuse the 'Qi droplet' with your dantian and reinforce it." The robotic voice sounded.

"Only a small problem; how do I do that?" Sora replied, annoyed at this close-to useless robot.

As expected, the robot didn't utter another word.

"I swear you're even more useless than that old man." Sora complained before shutting his eyes, resolute in trying to fuse the 'Qi droplet' with his Dantian.

Sora used his consciousness and started focusing on the small qi droplet, trying to make it float. Surprisingly, it actually worked. Figuring out he has good enough control over the droplet to make it float, Sora gained a lot more confidence to actually try and breakthrough.

Making the droplet float again, Sora then made it fly towards the left wall of the dantian, smashing into the wall and making Sora spew out blood.
