Humanity's Ungrateful Genius

Earth's population gets transferred to a different world named "The Transmigration Universe" by it's inhabitants. "Transmigration Universe" is an extremely vast world where different world's populations get transferred to, and has to fight other worlds for recourses and power through cultivation. Sora Jin was the younger brother of a widely famous "genius". The fame caused Sora's older brother to commit suicide, ever since Sora's one and only goal was to become the most powerful and talented person in terms of everything. He didn't want those disgusting humans to take that spot, and swore on his older brothers grave that he'd get to the top and laugh in all of humanities faces. Suddenly a robotic voice sounded in all of humanities ears. "Preparation period of the race "Human" done. Preparing transfer of the race "Human", preparation time required 30 minutes. Countdown started, 29 minutes and 59 seconds left."

Humanities Transfer Commencing

In a dark room somewhere on earth, a dark figure could be seen sitting up and looking at a small and bright screen light, displaying 8:14am.

"fuck, I'm late again." A deep voice sounded from the dark figure.

This dark figure's name is Sora Jin; he's a fifteen year old teenager that lives alone in a relatively empty apartment somewhere on earth.

The shadowy figure of Sora reached over to his left, hit a switch, and the entire room lit up. The previously dark figure stood up and walked toward what looked like a closet. He picked out some nice comfortable-looking clothes and looked to the left.

To the left, there was a mirror hanging on the closet door. In the reflection, a young and handsome man was seen posing and looking quite fashionable; he wore a beige sweatshirt with a pair of green cargo pants and some black and white checkered vans; the whole outfit matched his brown hair and green eyes perfectly. His fluffy brown hair was medium in length, reaching down slightly below his eyes, and he wore a monotone expression as if nothing in the world was worth his attention. He seemed to be around 185cm tall and in relatively good physical health with pretty big muscles; all in all, he was really attractive, especially with the uncaring expression and aura that surrounded him.

After a good look, he continued walking, picked up a black backpack next to the door, opened the door, and left the apartment.

As he opened the door to the outside, a fresh air that contained the smell of spring breezed into his nostrils, finally changing the monotone expression with a slight smile revealing itself on his beautiful red lips.

"This is why I live, to one day be free of all constraints and live a peaceful and relaxing life." Sora accidentally said out loud. He looked around after the words escaped his mouth, with relief flooding his mind when he realized there was no one around that heard him.

Even though it sounds cliché, one must always have a dream and end goal; otherwise there'll be nothing to live for.

He kept walking, got on a bike, and started pedaling off in a direction that led away from the apartment, his destination being Princeton University. Sora was in his second year of college at fifteen, clearly a rare genius in terms of intelligence.

While cycling, a sudden emotionless and robotic sounding voice sounded in his ears.

"Preparation period of the race "Human" done. Preparing transfer of the race "Human," preparation time required 30 minutes. Countdown's started, 29 minutes and 59 seconds left."

'Hm? What does that mean?' Sora thought while listening to the robotic voice.

After a short time passed, the information suddenly processed in Sora's head, and he immediately turned to look around. As expected, every other person he saw looked confused. He quickly pulled out his phone from his pocket and opened Twitter, and as he thought, the entire app was full of people asking what that voice was and if other people had also heard it.

@user12848265: "Did anyone else hear that voice just now?"

@Messi_is_better_than_Ronaldo182: "What does teleportation mean?"

@NarutoUzumaki_lover36: "What is this generic and cliché Manwha plot??"

@Femboy_lover69: "PLEASE TELL ME WE'RE GETTING TELEPORTED TO AN ANIME WORLD WITH FEMBOYS IN IT."

Everything about the robotic voice was weird; how can something manage to speak to every human on earth? And what does it mean by preparation time completed?

'never mind that; if what the robotic voice is saying is true, I have something to do.'

Sora quickly did a 180-degree turn with his bike and started cycling back the way he came from, his new destination was around 30 minutes of cycling away, and he started pedaling as if his life were at stake.

No matter if it was uphill or downhill, Sora biked frantically, trying to reach his destination as fast as possible, with the chilly spring wind blowing in his face during the entire journey. While pedaling, he saw other people looking panicked and frenzied, but while most people were frantically contacting their family and friends, Sora focused only on pedaling.

As he arrived at his destination, he let go of the bike that fell on the gravel ground making innumerable crunching sounds, and ran to a black fenced gate to open it. He ran along the gravel trail that followed the black gate, each footstep creating multiple crunching sounds and chilly spring wind blowing against his face.

He kept running and eventually turned right in the 9th and last row; he kept running for a few seconds until he finally stopped, reached down into his pocket, and pulled up his phone.

He clicked on Twitter and found a live feed of the 30-minute countdown posted by @Kpop_fan_22 "2 minutes and 14 seconds until the countdown reached zero." Putting away his phone, he looked down and smiled.

In front of him was a semi-large gravestone-shaped rock with 3 names engraved on it spelling out Akira Jin, Yua Jin, and Akio Jin. The gravestone looked rather luxurious with well-made and good material.

After a few seconds of silence, with only the sound of crispy cold wind blowing, Sora eventually opened his mouth and said, "Father, Mother. I think I'm going to be taken away and don't know if I'll ever be able to return to this place, so I've come to say a last goodbye. You've raised me well; I'll make sure to not disappoint you."

After a moment of hesitation, he moved down to the lowest name engraved on the gravestone, opened his mouth, and said, "Brother, no matter what happens, I'll survive and make sure to become the greatest genius there ever was. I won't let anyone without the surname Jin try and nab that role, don't worry, you can rest in peace now."

After he fulfilled his speech, he looked down at his phone and looked at the countdown again, 26 seconds left. "I guess this is it; I wonder where I'll be teleported to." Sora said aloud, breaking the monotone expression with a slightly confused and curious look on his face.

The chilly wind was finally interrupted by a familiar and robotic voice that sounded in Sora's ears again.

"Transfer preparations nearly complete, 10 seconds till teleportation."

"Transfer preparations complete, 5 seconds till teleportation."

"4 seconds"

"3 seconds"

"2 seconds"

"1 second"

"Teleportation commencing."

Suddenly a white flash erupted before Sora's eyes, making him involuntarily close his eyelids to protect his eyes from this sudden intruder. When the uncomfortably bright light finally disappeared, he opened his eyes and saw that he was in a completely white room with an elderly man sitting across from him, floating in midair.
