715 Finally, A Real Lead

The data that the mysterious man transferred turned out to be a remarkably intensive investigation into the origin of the Klem infestation. Surprisingly, the man had even included his actual personal details to get in contact with Max about the business deal, and it wasn't just a ploy to give him the data that his employers had gathered. 

From what Max could tell, the man worked for a Mercenary group, or Private Investigators, as they called themselves, on behalf of a half dozen planetary agencies and biotech companies who had commissioned their work. 

The fact that they were likely all paying for the same team was irrelevant, the group had put a lot of work in to deal with the issue, and from the look of it, they had deployed over a thousand separate agents to get all the data in a timely manner.
