Chapter: A Decision

Fifteen minutes— that was how long they had before Zane and Hades were executed. Thankfully, the Apocrypha's main base was now in view. Military personnel, Anunnaki, and human survivors alike, all drove towards their upcoming battle.

The sound of car engines, tanks, trucks, and whatever other vehicle that could be used, echoed through the area. The infected were not too far behind either, being attracted by a large group at the back of the army. The sounds of their intimidating growls and the purple slime that oozed from their bodies left a feeling of terror to those on the frontlines.

Anastasia eased her eyes forward to see what was ahead. The Apocrypha would surely be expecting their arrival. The bomb Layla and the others had set off, had echoed for miles. There was no way the Apocrypha would not notice.
