Chapter 59: Extension Charm

When returning home, Arthur immediately summoned Furry.

Furry was excited because when they were at school, Arthur didn't want to attract too much attention, so he only let her out to play at night.

Now that they were home, she could finally stay outside the entire day.

Arthur quickly cast a Muggle-Repelling Charm to prevent any outsiders from accidentally discovering Fury.

He didn't want to see her making headlines in the London Daily the next day.

Looking at the house that hadn't been cleaned in nearly a year, a wind swept through and tidied everything up.

Arthur had to admit that being a wizard had advantages when it came to different things that looked down on Muggles.

Cleaning such a large house with human labor would probably require five or six people and several hours to complete.

Wizards, on the other hand, only needed a few simple spells to get it done.

While waiting for Professor Dumbledore's reply, Arthur decided to spend the next few days creating a large space suitcase similar to Newt Scamander's.

He had always envied Newt's suitcase, like carrying a forbidden forest with him, ever since he watched the movies in his past life.

However, at Arthur's current level, he couldn't achieve that level of craftsmanship. Arthur suspected that the suitcase was probably not made by Newt himself but rather a family heirloom of the Scamander family.

Some of these pure-blood families, despite appearing poor and broke, still possessed powerful knowledge and resources. Take the Weasley family, for example.

Their clock could display the current location and health of each family member.

In the original book, when Mr. Weasley was attacked and admitted to St. Mungo's Hospital, the clock pointed to the hospital.

Arthur couldn't quite figure out what made these things work.

Although his current combat ability was not weak, it was only the result of the power-ups from the system's gacha draws.

If he were to fight Professor Dumbledore now, without using Avalon, although Arthur's spells were powerful, Dumbledore's proficiency in basic spells alone could easily outplay and defeat him.

These potions were meant to enhance the effectiveness of his spell-casting.

As Arthur cast the spell, the space inside the case slowly extended. Arthur exerted all his efforts and finally managed to make the inside space as large as two school playgrounds.

This was already his limit, as further increase could result in unstable space that would lose its effect in a few months.

Wiping the sweat off his forehead, Arthur prepared to move on to the second step: water source and plants.

He went to Diagon Alley and bought some fast-growing plants, which he planted inside the case.

Then, he created a large pit with an area of 1000 square meters and a depth of five meters using a powerful spell on the ground.

Then, Arthur connected a water pipe and filled it with water. This was the combination of magic and technology.

The passage of time inside the case was synchronized with the outside world. When it was daytime outside, it would be daytime inside the trunk, and when it was dark outside, it would be nighttime inside.

Therefore, Arthur didn't have to worry about a light source.

After a lot of effort, this little world was basically completed. By the time Arthur reached his second year, the environment inside would be suitable for Celestia's survival, and Arthur could always carry her with him.

Excitedly, she entered the trunk and helped Arthur arrange the furniture, turning it into a comfortable little home.

However, after her excitement calmed, Hermione also had some concerns.

Using the Extension Charm casually was against the law, and she was worried that Arthur would be targeted by the Ministry of Magic.

Arthur, on the other hand, wasn't too worried. He had already created several space bags, or elsewhere would he store all the ingredients and potions?

He believed no one would bother him as long as he didn't stupidly use these spatial items in front of Ministry officials.
