Chapter 3: Betrayal

Chapter 3: Betrayal

Mark's POV

Here I am tired from the day's work, I had a tiring day and all I want is her under me and making little us. I get home and I hear voices coming from the patio outside. It's Celia and my driver. What is Tim doing here I did not send him on any errands to my house. "I don't know how to stall him anymore my love, he really wants me to have a baby with him." That's Celia talking. I froze in place. "You don't have to worry about that. Just tell him that you are pregnant and we buy a doctor to falsify your pregnancy and after a while we just claim that you got a miscarriage that simple.

"You mean will it work?" She asks a little excited and Tim affirms her. "Don't forget, convince him to start a trust fund for the baby as soon as possible. That money will be useful for our family." Tim reminded her. "So, what time is 'Boss' Mark coming back? I miss you" He says that hugging her from behind. "He will be back in two hours at least" She answered with a giggle. Oh! What a nerve these people have.

I stand to the side making myself as invincible as possible. I hear clothes ripping, and moaning followed by panting. The veins on my fists are just inches from popping. After they are done I see them going up to our bedroom. I don't know where this calmness comes from but I follow them up and yes. They entered the bathroom together and are busy in the shower again. I wish I can just get in there and beat the hell out of Tim but my rationality kicks in. I calm myself down, I go back down stairs and went out not leaving a trace that I was even there.

My first thought was to go to a bar and drink myself stiff so I call Jay so I can drink with him. I have been busy lately and Jay and I have not seen each other in a while. Well Jay never liked Celia, not one bit. He told me from the start that she is a gold digger and I fought with him for it. I mean, who on earth would be happy when told that the love of your life is not what you see? There I was in our private room at his bar with a table full of alcohol. At this moment I do not care what I am drinking but I am drowning myself in my misery. "Don't take me home when I am drunk out of my mind you hear me?" Well I am still sober I just started drinking and this is the instruction I give him. "Why?" He asks with a pained expression on his face. "Just let me drink, I will tell you when I am Calm" I say. He sits opposite me and we quietly drink. The last thing I remember I was crying my lungs out with a glass in my hand.

I open my eyes and notice at once that I am not in my room. I close my eyes and what happened yesterday comes back in to my mind like a movie. I sit up and my head is throbbing and I force myself out of bed to the bathroom. After fixing myself up, I then went to the living room where I find Jay waiting for me. I look at Jay and he is livid. He looks like he can kill and he pounces on me as soon as he saw me. He punches me in the face like what the h***? I look at him with a questioning gaze. "What?" He asked me. "I feel like punching you some more. Didn't I tell you that she is a gold digger and what did you say?" He looks more furious than me. I keep mum and look down at my own feet. He paces around the room and nearly makes me dizzy. "What are you going to do?" he asks me after sitting in front of me. "I don't know" I sunk into the couch and look at the ceiling. " Sh*t" He curses out loud. "Yeah!" That's all I can say.

We sat there facing each other for a long time without saying anything. After a long time Jay asked me an obvious question. "So are you really sure you want to have a baby?" I look at him like DUH! Written on my face. "Don't look at me like that… are you sure you want a baby?" He stresses. "Yes!" That's the response I give him. "Okay" That's all he said and back to silence.
