Mana Body, Building a Wagon and Capturing the Iron-Lung.

As the morning came, and when I woke from my sleep under a tree, the first thing I noticed was the transferred Hail-Mary plants in front of me.

I was surprised to see that their appearance in the morning was very endearing to look at. Like a row of glass plants, the Hail-Mary plants were naturally blending in to the environment even though it was in an open area.

When I took a closer look at the plants, I noticed that one of the plants where I pulled out a leaf from last night to feed to the Ruby cow, its leaf had started growing already. I was amazed by its growth rate.

And looking around, I thought of trying to see if the Ruby cows were either interested in the plants, but judging by how not a single cow was found near my area, I can only assume that they probably didn't notice these healing plants.

"...Hmm, I guess I don't have to worry about them eating the Hail-Mary's then."

After checking the conditions of the plants, I made my way to the river to clean myself. Having done so, I thought of another thing I should buy when I plan to go to the dragon empire…and that was soap. Soap was a necessary item that I needed if I plan to stay healthy in the forest.

"Hmm, I should probably try to make a list of the things I need."

Having done washing myself, I then proceeded to go to the area where the wagon was placed.

Looking at the condition of the wagon, it seems as though it was rotting.

"...it looks like I can't use it." I said as I checked every inch of its condition. The iron parts were so rusted that it wouldn't support the wagon if I tried pushing it towards my camp and the wood parts were so feeble, it wouldn't survive a journey to the dragon empire if I used it to be pulled by a horse.

"I guess I'll just go to the Dragon Empire without a wagon…"

I said as I made my way back to the camp, I looked back to the wagon and stared at its condition again.

"...Dammit."

I made my way to the back of the wagon…before anything, I focused on the atmosphere of the mana around me…having felt a change in the sensation of my body, I tried going forward with using a skill called 'Mana Body Reinforcement'

The process of trnasferring mana into my muscles or how I used mana to stimulate my strength made me capable of being able to push the wagon despite it being so rusted and old.

"Khk!" it was hard pushing forward with this moment being my first time practicing this type of skill…but sooner than not, I was making progress with my ability to reinforce my body with mana.

Each step I took to push the wagon, each muscle that contracts with the mana gathering both in my arms and legs…it felt like I was an unstoppable force at that moment. It was like I was pushing forward with a strength that was steady and powering.

It took a while…but after two hours of pushing and clearing away the trees with my axe, I was able to place the wagon on my campsite.

"..." staring at its condition, it was on its last legs.

I thought that maybe if I replace the parts with wood, I could practically make use of the wagon. All the materials I have at the moment was quite enough. Mainly that what I have today is the Steelpine tree. If I can carve parts of it to have the same function as that of the rusted wagon, maybe I can replace the metal parts as well as the wooden parts. It'll probably take me a long time, but I'm no really in a rush for things.

First off was replacing the wheels.

Using my carving skills, I made an exact replica of the first wheel with just the steelpine and a dagger. To my surprise, I felt comfortable carving through the wood in front of me with such ease…the very flow of me etching and cutting out the tree felt so natural. In my mind, the very image of the wheel was present. And that thought itself made me react to the form of cutting through the wood piece by piece…

Whatever I thought of doing towards my craft, my body felt so inclined to complete it.

"..." the silence in the forest helped me focus on this very first craft that I was making, which was in irony, the "Wheel". one of mankind's greatest works towards a bright future.

After an hour and a half of working, I had finally finished making the first wheel. At the first thirty minutes, I was simply studying how the wheel was formed, from its shape to understanding its reason for some of its shape, I had complete memorized the wheel by its basics.

I then proceeded to make three other more which on costed me about two and a half hour. I was able to save about thirty minutes by then because I was getting accustomed to the idea of making the wheel.

After finishing the making of the wheels, I had to take a break from working.

As I went near the camp fire, I then proceeded to pick out one of the smoked deer meat and put them on top of the fire to heat them up. As it was roasting, I made my way to the river to get some drinking water. I know it isn't completely sanitary to drink water as it is from the river, but since I don't have a pot yet, I might as well compromise with what I have.

Looking at the river, I turned back to the lake to see that those horses with wings and horns would probably be the ideal animal needed to pull on my cart. Since I don't plan to even push the cart by myself to the Dragon Empire, I might as well tame an animal of its kind.

"...Maybe I should tame one after I'm done fixing the wagon."

I said as I made my way back to the campsite.

When I arrived I ate the meat and after resting for thirty minutes, I went back to work on the next part of the wagon which was the axle…

At first, I broke the frame of the wagon piece by piece so that I could pull away the axle. I'll use the discarded wood frame for my fire so I don't have to worry about wasting the material itself.

As I got the axle out of the old wagon, I began to study its form yet again…

It took me about an hour to study its form, but after that, I simply went to work. It was a bit complicated, but nonetheless, I was sure of myself that I could copy a complete replica of itself if I do it step by step.

From its nuts to its bolts, I simply made a simple version of it made out of steelpine.

After about four hours, I was able to finish the work.

"...Hmm, lets just hope that it works." I said to myself as I was nervous of my failure towards the copy of a wagon.

After making the axle, it was starting to get dark seeing as how the Hail-Mary plants were starting to glow.

During this time, it wasn't ideal to work at night. So I had to stop working all together and rest so that I can work again in the morning…

Before I could go to sleep, I was yet again, approached by the two ruby cows.

It seems as though they want to eat the Hail-Mary plants…so to compromise my chances of not being blessed with bad luck by these cows, I gave them two leaves each.

After giving it to the two, they simply left after that, leaving me on my own. After they left, another animal came to approach me.

"..Hmm, Capatora."

It simply stood in front of me with its calm, soulless eyes and sat by the fire.

"...I guess he doesn't need anything." I said as I started dazing away into a deep sleep.

The next day….

As I awoke, I was surprised to find that the Capatora was gone and the fire was put out.

"...Hm"

After a bit of resting, I planned to continue on with the work on the wooden frame which I would use for the wagon.

It started off easy since it was just a simple wood frame, but after a while of thinking about it, by constructing the frame of the wagon. I cut the wooden boards according to my simple design and I assembled them to form the base and sides of the wagon. Using some of its old nails and some newly made wooded steelpine nails, I secured the pieces together, ensuring that the frame is sturdy and level. It took me about three hours to make the whole thing.

After it, I proceeded to make a hitch mechanism where I can attach the horse into.

The Hitch took about two hours to make but after it was done, I simply assembled all of the pieces I made.

One by one, I secured everything…

Comparing it to the old wagon, the old wagon had its roof, but because of the years that passed, the tent of its roof simply deteriorated. If I want to design it in a way with a roof, I can simply modify it.

"Hmm, I wonder if it works well? " I said as I looked on the simple roofless wagon that was in front of me.

[THE NEWLY MADE STEELPINE WAGON HAS A WORKING RATE OF 89%] Said the All-Known book.

"89%…I guess that's pretty good on the first try." I said as I smiled from ear to ear.

"Now…to tame a horse." I said as I made my way to the lake.

I had to make sure which was the best animal to tame…so I had to ask AK about it.

"With my current source of materials with me today, what do you think is the best possible horse that I could tame to use at the wagon that I just made.?"

[ANALYZING…ANALYSIS COMPLETE…A SPECIES KNOWN AS THE IRON-LUNG STEAD IS THE BEST HORSE FOUND IN THE AREA. IT HAS THE ENDURANCE TO RUN A DAY WITHOUT REST AND THE STRENGTH TO PULL OUT A STEELPINE TREE BY ITS OWN, BUT ITS PRIDE AS A STRONG HORSE MAKES IT NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR A HUMAN TO TAME SUCH A CHALLENGE. THE ONLY WAY TO TAME THE IRON-LUNG STEAD IS WITH THE HELP OF FEEDING IT ONE OF ITS FAVORITE FRUITS, THE JOLLY MANGO.]

"Why the Jolly Mango?"

[THE SKIN OF THE JOLLY MANGO HAS THE ABILITY TO MAKE A PERSON LAUGH FOR HOURS BUT FOR THE IRON-LUNG STEAD, THE DARK SPOTS ON THE MANGO'S SKIN MAKES THEIR ENDURANCE INCREASE EACH TIME THEY EAT THE JOLLY MANGO.]

"Hmm, so that's why."

Luckily for me, I know where to get one.

An hour later…

As I followed the directions given by the All-Known book, I was finally able to locate the Iron-Lung Stead.

It was by itself, drinking along the river.

It was completely dark-brown horse that was about two and a half meters high on its four legs, so I was a bit scared to see such a big horse in this world.

To not make any sort of bad intent for the Iron Lung, the book said that I simply had to offer the fruit by hand without making any eye contact with the horse.

Any sort of eye to eye view would result in a sign of bad trust.

So as I walked closer and closer to the animal, I began to offer three Jolly mangoes.

The Horse was able to notice me just from ten meters away but it didn't run away since it took notice of the Mangoes as well.

"..." Each five second that passed, I would move for about a meter near the horse…

After 35 seconds of waiting and getting close, I was about three meters away from it. That three meters felt like it was enough for me to offer the fruits…so I waited with my arms up to hold the fruits.

A minute passed…but nothing.

Another Three minutes but still no reaction. Still, I couldn't look towards it just yet.

But after five minutes more, it finally accepted my offer and I came to receive its loyalty…as long as I continued to feed it mangoes.

Having used the rope, I brought the horse to the camp and had it fit to the wagon.

"...Damn. It looks great." I said to myself.

Tomorrow, I plan to go to the Dragon Empire to sell the Hail-Mary Plants and selling the sword handle. Using them as profit to buy other materials like for building a house, buying seeds, buying other sorts of resources..either way, I'm ready.
