Chapter 20: A New Beginning.

•Third POV, Florida, modern times•

The 13 Zodiacs all appeared in a large penthouse next to the lovely, sandy beach and blue, clear water. The new surroundings were definitely a change to the old, ruined castle.

It was surely a nice, neat change. New scenary and new surroundings, what could go wrong?

"HRAAAAAAAAA!" Taurus yelled out as a charged head-first into a wall. He obviously didn't have his horns - which he hadn't quite realised - so he hit the wall, hard. Taurus fell back, whimpering as he held his head. Virgo went over to help him.

"This is ridiculous!" Capricorn shrieked, holding his head in outrage.

"It's also apparently our new home." Sagittarius put in, which didn't help the mood at all.

"Damn it!" Cancer roared, from sitting on the sofa - next to Libra - who was just sobbing into her hands.

"This is gonna be.. Awesome!" Gemini, probably the only enthusiastic one about this whole situation, squealed as he threw his fists in the air.

"Mm.. At least there's a swimming pool.." Aquarius said from inside the pool upon the large balcony. Pisces was sat beside her, remaining quiet, for once.

"...I can't believe he actually did that.." Aries sighed, sadness and dread filling his features.

Scorpio, as always, was sleeping upon the sofa - just loving life.

"We have to get back.." Ophiuchus said from leaning against the wall. She had human legs! "There's no two ways about it.." Of course, she hadn't learned how to use them yet, so the wall was makeshift support.

Leo was also beside her and had a hand upon her shoulder, fortunately the snake bearer hadn't quite clocked it yet.

"We have to rebuild our relationships if we wish to head back to our previous home." Virgo finally spoke, after helping Taurus.

"How long could that take?" Leo questioned, with a deep frown.

"A matter of days, weeks, months.. Possibly even years.." Virgo sighed as she said this, clearly displeased.

"What the fuck is this block?" Capricorn grumbled, as he took a phone from his pocket. They all had one.

"..Buttons? Why-" Libra was cut off by the bright glow of the phone she had just turned on.

"..This shit is so useless!" Taurus bellowed, as he slammed it against the wall. It didn't break, instead, had a large crack across the glass screen-protector. He looked astonished that something had withstood his strength.

"Maybe it has some use.." Virgo mumbled, as she turned it on and looked across the many apps. "Messenger.. Whatsupp.. Pacebook.." She, Aquarius and Pisces were, funnily enough, the only ones able to read the modern tongue.

"What the hell are you speaking? Gibberish?" Cancer questioned, through gritted teeth.

"Shut it, Crab." Pisces hissed, as he was also reading across the variety of apps.

"Excuse me?!" Cancer roared as he quickly jumped up. He was about to storm over until Sagittarius got infront of him, he had lost his centaur body and instead also had normal leg, although was still very tall.

"Don't start fights in our.. Extravagant, new home." He said sternly, with crossed arms. Sagittarius was clearly just making sure Aquarius wasn't caught in the cross hair, as she was sat beside Pisces in the pool.

Cancer reluctantly sat back down, sulkily.

"Ah! These are useful!" Aquarius spoke, abruptly. "We have each other's contact and can message each other through it!" She seemed relieved and interested in this new, useful technology.

"Show me how to use it!" Capricorn said as he bolted over.

Ophiuchus and Leo seemed uninterested as they mumbled amongst themselves, possibly plotting something.

"Let's just sit down and work through this all together." Virgo said, calmly, as everyone scrambled to get on the sofas or in an armchair. Ophiuchus and Leo were, yet again, the only uninterested ones.

"Move your ass!" Taurus yelled at Scorpio, who was just quietly sleeping. He looked rather dazed when Taurus woke him from his slumber.

"Ah- eh-?" Scorpio squinted slightly, as Taurus was about to sit on his legs, Scorpio quickly moved them and sat upright.

"So.. Let me just test this out.." Aquarius said as her thumbs began moving over the screen.

Ping!

"Ooooh! I got a message!" Gemini shrieked in excitement as he took his phone out, he couldn't read a word of the message.

"..." Pisces was looking over Gemini's shoulder, speechless at the message. He was so glad that nobody else could see it.

"Let me see!" Aries shouted in excitement, as he began climbing over everyone to reach them. Pisces quickly snatched the phone off Gemini.

"Nu-uh, shortie." Pisces smirked, as Aries slunk back to his seat in defeat.

"Y'all wanna know what I said?" Aquarius hissed out, much to Pisces' dismay. "So, basically, Gemini and Pisces are like-" She began punching her hands together, as Pisces' face slowly turned a deep, beetroot red. "And I heard it all, y'know." She smirked at Pisces, who quickly covered his face in embarrassment. Gemini was so confused.

"Oh damn, Fishy got a boyfriend~" Cancer cackled, mockingly.

"Ooh, come on! You seriously did it without telling us?!" Aries exclaimed in disappointment.

"Excuse me.. Since when did anyone tell people they're going to have sex?" Pisces looked a little confused.

"You actually admit to it? Ew." Ophiuchus put, without even bothering to sugarcoat it.

"Excuse me?!" Pisces grumbled, as he got up quickly, about to charge the snake.

Leo quickly got infront of her. "Whatever, I have better things to be doing." Ophiuchus said simply, without even a thanks, as she slinked out of the room. Leo hastily followed, after a quick 'sorry'.

"Little bitch.." Pisces hissed, as he sat back down.

"Anywho.." Virgo slowly said, continuing on the task at hand. "Let's all learn the vocabulary around the modern tongue, together."

With that, the three that could speak it, began to teach the others. Although, Pisces literally only helped Gemini.

"And... Done!" Aquarius exclaimed, with enthusiasm - proud that she had taught people for once.

"Well.. It certainly wasn't a professional teaching, although I think I've got the gist of things.." Cancer said, as he stared at the keyboard letters on his phone.

"Can I go back to sleep now?" Scorpio asked, with a large yawn.

"Can't we all?" Capricorn added, looking to Virgo.

"...I'm not the leader, Leo is. And he doesn't seem to be back yet, so.. Go for it!"

"Oh, joyous.." Sagittarius said, grumpily.

"Aren't there any beds?" Aries pouted.

"Let's go have a look up the stairs!" Libra exclaimed, excitement filled her gaze as she skipped towards the stairs. Aries followed quickly, along with Cancer and the others.
