Queen for a Day

If New Vista was a medieval kingdom, it was certain that, with Vince no longer there, Luca would be the king.

Luca made her feel like a queen for her birthday.

They walked through the door of the jeweler and Sophia was instantly whisked away to a back room where she was sat in a comfortable chair and offered champagne. Since Luca had already picked out a gift for her and contacted them in advance, all they were going to do was pamper Sophia while she was there.

Before she even saw the gift, she drank champagne, was given a light shoulder massage, and had her nails painted a pale pinkish nude that suited her skin tone and was perfect for spring.

Expecting to get a bracelet like Luca, Sophia was shocked when a man wearing a black suit and white gloves came forward with a small box in his hands.

"Miss Prince," he greeted her. "I hope you're having a wonderful birthday. I was shining this upon Mr. Morelli's request."
