Sophia's eyes had adjusted to the darkness by that point and she could see blood on Luca's hand from where he smashed the man's head into the rock. He must have scratched his hand against the rock as well.
She noticed Luca wouldn't look at her yet so all she could do was observe him. She kept her mouth shut. There were things she wanted to say but she knew she would be too emotional if she even opened her mouth. The alcohol from before was making her mood so much more intense. She was getting angry about the bond that always hung over her head.
Before she could break the silence, Luca spoke first.
"I'm sorry," he said and finally turned to her. "This is all my fault. It's going to keep being my fault until I can fix it."
Sophia didn't know what he meant specifically but she hated that she agreed with him.
She took a moment to gather herself, but her voice came out shaky anyway.
