The Portal

The chapter opens with a massive portal appearing in the middle of the city. It's a swirling vortex of dark energy, crackling with an ominous light, and it quickly becomes the focal point of global media. News outlets, social media, and every major broadcast are buzzing about the mysterious phenomenon. Amid the chaos, only Demian understands its true nature.

Determined to confront the unknown, Demian flies towards the portal and enters it. On the other side, he finds himself in a hellish landscape. Everything is in ruins; it's a desolate wasteland devoid of life. In the distance, he spots a gathering of malevolent spirits and dashes towards them.

As he approaches, two imposing spirits materialize behind him with arms crossed, exuding an intimidating aura. "How did you get in here, mortal?" one of them demands.

With a cautious expression, Demian responds, "I'm a human from a different world. I saw a portal and walked in."

The spirits laugh, "Only gods can grant someone access to the portal. Who are you?"

Demian attempts to stop time, but it fails. The spirits mock him, "Puny mortal, didn't your god teach you that time moves differently here?"

They attack swiftly, but Demian evades their strikes and dashes away. Soon, thousands of spirits are searching for him. Demian makes a run for the portal, but a human-like figure appears before him, blocking his path. "Oh, you're his kid," the figure says.

Demian attacks using various abilities, but nothing works. The figure remains unfazed. Demian quietly says, "Void," and the figure's eyes burst. However, the figure quickly dodges, appearing in front of Demian. He grabs Demian and slams him into the ground.

The figure relentlessly assaults Demian, throwing him against a mountain, punching him into the air, and double-punching him back to the ground. Before Demian can hit the ground, the figure knees him, grabs him with his leg, and slams him repeatedly into the ground. Demian, unable to move, coughs up blood.

Leaning towards him, the figure warns, "Don't come back if you know what's best for you." He throws Demian through the portal, sending him crashing into a building in the real world. The media and onlookers react in shock. A helicopter shines a spotlight on Demian.

A girl appears, quickly taking Demian and vanishing from sight. The world reacts in chaos, with world leaders scrambling to understand the situation.

Back in the hellish realm, the figure kneels before an unseen entity on a throne. "You let him get away," the entity says.

The figure responds, "I'm sorry, I got scared. He's a god killer, sire."

"A god killer?" the entity questions. "How can that be?"

"He used the Void," the figure explains.

"The Void?" the entity muses. "It's my brother's boy."

"I thought so too, sire," the figure confirms.

"Interesting," the entity says thoughtfully.

Meanwhile, in a hidden location, a girl tends to Demian's wounds. As he opens his eyes, he sees Anahit. Barely able to move, Demian places his hand on her cheek and says, "I found you."

Anahit replies, "No, I found you."
