CHAPTER 3

As soon as we both reached near the car, Helek's car was white in color and looked new because the car was shining even in the dark. I looked around on that deserted road. There was blood spread everywhere on the road, and some pieces of human bodies were lying around; everything else was the same as before. All the buildings were quiet, as if no one lived in them. And those skinwalkers were standing in large numbers below our building a while ago.

Where did they suddenly go? I was worried that those skinwalkers were hiding and were waiting for the right time to attack us. Helek quickly opened the car door and made me sit first, then he also sat, but as soon as we both sat inside,

"Helek, please close the windows," I asked him to do because I had feared that those skinwalkers could attack us anywhere. Helek obeyed me and closed all the windows of the car, and as soon as we closed the windows, those skinwalkers came there and started hitting the glass.

I was not able to even move after seeing him, but I was also feeling safe because I was sitting in the car, or maybe I was confident that the hell would not let anything happen to me. Helek quickly started the car and kept moving ahead without stopping.

He crushed so many skinwalkers with his car. My entire attention was outside because I was enjoying the way he was crushing the skinwalkers, but whenever those skinwalkers were coming from the front at full speed, I felt that I was finished. Because due to the darkness, it was not possible to know how many skinwalkers were there in front of us and who would appear from where and when.

I thought Helek must be feeling the same, so when I looked at him, there was a strange smile on his face, which I found very different.

We were just going very fast, but I also don't know. Where are we going? Helek asked me, "Where should we go now?" I told him, "Let's go to the military camp.". He asked, "Tell me the way.". How can I tell him because I also don't know where the safe camp is? I told him, "Take me anywhere in a safe place." After listening to me, he didn't reply and started driving the car by looking ahead.

It has been many hours since we have been traveling. I even fell asleep in between, and when I woke up, Helek was driving the car without taking any rest. I wiped the saliva from my face and touched Helek's hand, but as soon as I touched it, he started shivering, and he told me,

"Please don't touch me, Keroli, and we are about to reach our destination."

I looked outside our window, and we were moving towards the forest very fast, and it was still dark, but it was feeling like the sun would rise soon.

I asked him, "Why are we going to the jungle? Who knows those monsters are hiding in the jungle?" He replied very calmly, "My villa is in the forest because I can't bear the crowd and Nosie," so he has taken a house in the jungle away from everyone.

From his talk, it seemed that he is probably an introvert. Then, as we moved ahead inside the jungle, there was a very big villa there, which was very beautiful. The lights of the villa were on; maybe someone else was also inside.

Helek stopped the car right in front of the villa and told me, "Don't come out until I tell you I will check safety first." I nodded yes. Helek got out of the car and started looking around, then a boy came out of the villa who was average-looking; both of them were talking, which I could not hear. I was just waiting that I would get out when Helek told me to, then Helek came and opened the car door for me.
