Trial

Three Months Later

All charges against me and my guys were dropped. Without the witness or the evidence they had nothing. Turns out the evidence in the envelope from big D were all originals. He had really had someone steal evidence from the police station. When I asked him who did it he told me it was a cop he had on payroll. I didn't ask who.

We were free, except for Christian. My boo still sat in jail. I only saw him two days a week for the last month. I was grateful for that as I had went two months not seeing him at all. He always smiled when I saw him, and he always had jokes. But I knew he was not where he wanted to be. I wasn't much for writing letters, so I never missed a visit. Our bond was still strong and after I destroy the last piece of evidence they had, he would be free to.
