Shopping? Dating!

Since being reincarnated into this world, Kouro hasn't had enough time to look around the city of Nagazora and now he can do so while familiarizing his relationship with Mei.

It's true as the saying goes, " Kill two birds with one stone."

Because Kouro at least wanted to see his hometown better before it became a ruin.

Senba Academy was rather quiet at night, but when the two of them walked out of the academy. They realized that the city of Nagazora at night was surprisingly lively.

When Kouro had come to Senba academy from Tachikawa academy before, he had preferred a short, quiet road.

But because of Honkai this world had fewer male residents, and even fewer boys.

If he walked on a crowded street, Kouro would sometimes run into women who asked for his contact information and some even asked him out on dates.

Kouro didn't have time to cater to those women.

Little did he know that almost a week had passed and now he was walking Mei out for a 'date'.

Unfortunately he was still at level one which honestly made Kouro a little worried.

If he had a weapon of destruction before then Kouro would have leveled up a long time ago. Unfortunately such weapons were not widely circulated even in the black market.

However, walking together with Mei now made Kouro automatically suppress all the negative emotions in his heart.

The road they walked on was not the road Kouro was used to, but the road they walked on was a crowded road.

But then due to problems with her family, her personality grew again to a level that made her naturally less nervous and shy when being noticed by many people.

"By the way Mei-senpai, apart from that Strawberry daifuku? Do you make anything else too?" Kouro asked casually.

Even if he wasn't used to this crowded street, Kouro as a man couldn't possibly let Mei take the initiative to lead.

In the short time Kouro had been considering things, he couldn't just walk around aimlessly with Raiden Mei just to chat.

Hearing Kouro's question, Mei's steps halted for a moment then she chose to tell the truth.

"I was planning to make other things too, unfortunately there wasn't enough time..." Mei said before muttering with a slightly sad expression, but her expression reddened because right after that, her stomach rumbled.

*Growl*

Kouro turned to look at her with a strange look. "Don't tell me that you were so focused on preparing those sweets for me that you forgot about yourself. "

Mei could only remain silent and turned her face away in slight embarrassment.

Strawberry Daifuku was not a special dessert, but it also took time.

Besides, Mei didn't want Kouro to wait too long for her.

She had just delayed the meeting time by half an hour, so of course she didn't have time to make food for herself.

Unlike Kouro, Mei usually didn't go to the school cafeteria for lunch, that was because she wasn't used to the cafeteria atmosphere.

Her classmates all sat together for lunch, but she was the only one alone making her look very conspicuous.

With the money he had, even if he quit his internship at the ME company, Kouro could afford to take Mei around the world to taste each country's specialties for a lifetime.

Kouro's generous actions made Mei finally accept his treat, but she only chose a nearby restaurant that looked ordinary.

But this restaurant that could open on a busy street was certainly not ordinary.

Entering the restaurant, the two of them saw that the interior was decorated with bright colors and there was a not-so-large U-shaped table in the middle.

The owner was seen taking orders, while the new guests were seated at the U-shaped tables on the outside.

Mei ordered the medium version of the Tonkatsu set meal, Kouro who was not very picky about food due to long-term hard training and was too lazy to make a choice so ordered the same set meal as Mei.

Kouro and Mei chatted for a while before falling into silence for lack of a topic.

In that awkward silence Mei was then able to think about it clearly, isn't this really a date?! Realizing this made her face turn red.

Fortunately, the boss lady had excellent cooking skills and brought the set meal that the two of them ordered quickly.

"Enjoy the food. "

Kouro glanced at Mei whose eyes were focused on the food before them while gulping down her saliva.

"Looks like you're starving. " Kouro said with a teasing smile.

Realizing his gaze, made Mei embarrassed and nervous, 'Ho-how is this! I've shown Kouro my bad side! He now thinks that I'm a greedy girl!'

"Then let's eat, Mei-senpai. " Kouro said while eating his food.

Mei also did the same but because her mind was wandering, she choked on her food.

"Ukch!" Mei tried to cough and hit her chest.

Although this set meal consisted of chicken, vegetables, and rice, eating without water or soup would not be fatal, Mei had suffered a major crisis!
