To begin again

After a few months at this weekly. We decided it was time to move on. We called around a lot but couldn't find anything in state. The locals were starting to get cruel with my daughter. She's a lot darker than all of us. Which doesn't make any sense. Her father was a lot more white than me. My boys father was darker than me. Yet my boys are white and my girl is brown. I'm pretty sure it's my fault though honestly. My mom is dark skinned. If I went in the sun long enough I could blend in the darkness of the night. Tried and tested. 😅 I don't get a lot of sun anymore. So I'm pretty white at the moment. I mean I don't burn. Even if I did get sun burn which is rare. My skin heals with in a day or so and then I'm just a shade or so darker. Depending on how bad the exposure was and for how long.

It was now a week until summer. So we got everything ready to go. Packed up what we had. Then we headed on the road. I wanted to go to see my sons uncle. Which was fun up until my kids loss the only thing they had from their father. It was his old console. Someone stole it right from our car. It made them extremely sad. We stayed in magnolia for a few days then headed out. We stopped in Texas and pretty much every state until we reached Oregon. I wanted to take my kids camping but I wanted to be near the water. So we ended up in coos Bay Oregon. We stayed at the camping grounds for as long as possible. Then Kc and I both got jobs. She worked at a fishery and I ended up becoming a personal assistant. It came with perks. 2 bedrooms in a house that was worked off by me working for them. Everything was going smoothly. 2 years in his home working under him. Until he decided he wanted to go on the road with his company. However perfect timing. Everyone at the fishery got laid off. The boats were coming back nearly empty. I think they called it the skunked season. So with us in tow. It got really and truly difficult. We all decided that during his jobs. We would take the kids to play. So in every state we stopped at for jobs. We stopped at different places. Splash pads, regular parks, pools, hiking, beaches or 00plakes, we've stopped at different theme parks and fishing. It was genuinely fun. The kids were having a blast at every stop. Every once in a while we would stay in a hotel. Otherwise we were camping. Letting the kids sleep out under the stars at night. Only time we would stay in hotels or motels was when it looked like rain was coming. To help prevent them from getting sick. Honestly it was really and truly nice. Kc started working as an assistant tech for my boss. We got to teach the kids to fish. They learned how to truly live off the land. All except guns. They got to go hunting with us. Though they never left the truck. Not after the pig attacked them. They did observe a lot. Apart from that they were learning new things every day. Basic and advanced survival skills. We kept them so busy that by the time the sun went down so did their eyelids. My oldest lived to catch crabs by hand. My other 2 loved eating it. When we finally reached Vegas. We ended up staying in a hotel for a few days. It was on the higher side of the spectrum. No bugs and no drug or alcohol addicted wandering mindlessly. I was in love with their bathroom. It had a jacuzzi line tub. Very beautifully created. There was a mermaid with waves and a huge seashell carved into the outer part of the tub. The water faucet and the sink both had seashells on the rims. Even the lights and all was mermaid themed. It truly was beautiful. Coral pink, green and blue hues for it all. It was enchanting to say the least. The lights were actual candles. I honestly loved the lay out. After a few days we went to check out a few rentals. Eventually we found a unit. It was pretty big for it's price. 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage, huge living room and medium kitchen. We stayed there for a few weeks but with all the extra people constantly moving in. We decided it was time to move on again. It was begining to feel cramped and there was a lot of problems. Very little space with a lot of people. It was bound to happen. Since I'm passive. I let him know we were leaving. He asked us to stay but we just couldn't. So we packed up and left again. After saying our goodbyes we drove off. Trying to figure out where we were going to go.
