014 Hogwarts Express

"Mr. Granger, Mrs. Granger, Hermione, good afternoon."

Altaïr greeted the three of them.

"His name is Leif and he's a very well-behaved toad. I hope you don't mind."

"Okay, my name is Hermione, Hermione Granger."

Neville was relieved that Hermione didn't show distaste towards toads like the other girls.

"Altair Shelby."

Altaïr nodded at Neville, indicating that he didn't care about the fat toad either.

"I think you better close the door, otherwise this toad might come out."

Altaïr reminded him, and Neville patted him on the forehead, thanked him, and then closed the door to the box.

There was silence in the box for a moment, and Hermione suddenly asked:

"Are your parents wizards?"

Neville raised his head and realized that Hermione was asking him, so he nodded:

"Yes, they are all wizards."

Neville's parents were tortured by Death Eaters and turned into lunatics. They are still imprisoned in the psychiatric department of St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Diseases and Maladies. He grew up with his grandmother, but he had no intention of telling this matter.

Altaïr hasn't read the history of Hogwarts, but he read the original book and saw the movie, so he knows a lot of things and can chat with Hermione.
