Running late for my first class is a crap way to start off the day. I debate whether or not to call this class a wash and just stop for coffee on the way to school. Easy debate, coffee wins. Already close to Starbucks, I pull into their busy drive thru.
I worked late lastnight and am sore and exhausted from all the tires I had to freaking rearrange. I stayed up late working on home work and forgot to set my alarm.
Ordering my usual Carmel macchiato for the expresso, I decide to treat myself and order and double smoked bacon and gouda cheese breakfast sandwhich.
Parking is packed already so I get stuck in the back, eating my sandwhich on the way already, I grab my coffee and start walking towards the school. Since my first class in over in about 15 minutes, I decide to hangout on the couch outside of my Interior Design class.
While waiting I feel eyes on me. Looking up to see no one, I begin to look around awkwardly. Spotting Samantha and Martha sitting right behind me, the two huddled close. Are they skipping class too? Samantha looks like the type of chic to skip a class but not Martha, that chic is a straight A straight edge chic. And that scowl of her tells me she means business.
Just then Matt walks over and sits with them. I turn back around because I have been gawking at them for far too long. Although I can't see them, I hear them chatting from behind me.
Samantha and Martha are talking about the class they just blew off, I guess I was correct, this is Martha's first time. Matt and Samantha seem like they are getting close, she asks him how his girlfriend is and work. I can't tell if she likes him or just genuinely wants to know. Just then I hear Matt's voice call out.
"Dillion, hey, come here." Matt's voice clearly comes through.
Getting up, I grab my backpack and shuffle over to their table and set of chairs.
"What's up man?" I casually ask taking the empty seat next to Samantha.
"Not much, just hanging with Sam and Martha, you know these two right?"
"Uh yeah, I recognize you guys. Hey." I smile and sarcastically wave.
"Hey!" Both girls reply in unison.
"So you from around here Dillion?" Samantha asks me.
"No, just moved here actually. You?"
"Yeah I grew up here, I work down the street." She smiles and she is gorgeous. A dimple on each cheek as her smile reaches from ear to ear.
"Where do you work?" I ask wanting to continue the conversation.
"I work at the massage parlor, I'm the receptionist. It's easy plus I get discounts on massages." She smiles and winks.
"That's definitely a bonus."
"Let's grab coffee before class starts." Matt suddenly jumps in and I find myself irritated with his interruption.
"I could definitely do coffee." Martha agrees.
"Coffee for you?" Samantha asks me.
"I guess I could use one too." Fuck it, she is worth two coffees in a row. Jitters be damned.
We all make our way to the student Cafe area together. The girls order first and like a gentleman I pick up everyone's tab before Matt can beat me to it. Samantha got a chocolate mocha with whipped cream and watching her lick the cream from the top of her coffee does something devilish deep down inside of me.
I'm actually quite surprised with myself that I am even interested in her. Don't get me wrong, she is a gorgeous woman but my heart still belongs to another and I feel guilty even having these feelings.
"So Dillion, where do you hail from? Anywhere exciting?" Martha asks playfully.
"Yeah, we are a bunch of boring townies." Samantha adds in.
"I'm actually from Northpoint, it's about 4 hours north of here." I answer taking a sip of my coffee. I don't really enjoy sharing personal things with people.
"That's cool, what made you want to move to Greenwood?" Martha continues with her probe of my personal life.
"Um, this was the only place I could get into for college, I fucked around alot in highschool so..." I don't really know what to say.
"Same, that's why I'm stuck here too." Samantha says suddenly.
"Do you have a girlfriend?" Martha asks once again invading my person life.
"Nope."
Silence follows and Martha shares an odd look with Samantha.
"We should start heading to class." Martha breaks the silence with something valid this time.
We all grab our coffees and head to class together. Marth and Samantha a few feet in front of Matt and I, my eyes glued to Samantha's backside. What a sway this girl has when she walks.
