Lighting shit

The girls arrived home and were welcomed by the silence around the neighbourhood since everyone was locked indoors,they arrived at around 7:30Pm,the weather seemed normal just more of windy.

Martha ran towards the door step and rang the door bell,they waited for a minute or two and the door was opened,"Ohh, you're back!for a minute there,I thought I would have to come and look for guys, what took you so long?",their mum asked them,

" Sorry we delayed but we were helping Mrs.Yumji in the boutique,"Kylie explained, "Mrs. Yumji?how is she doing? it has been long since i last visited her",the girls were both surprised by this and were curious to know how their mum knew Mrs. Yumji, " You know her?!!",they both asked,

"Well...actually I buy most of my accessories from there,mostly the dresses,designer bags and jewellery....hmm i wonder what the latest outfits look like..i really need new dresses for myself! the rest are becoming small...i think i've gained weight even with the dieting i do...",Mrs. Hellen ended up saying more than necessary,

"....."

"Forgive my bubbling mouth,i bet you two are very tired, please come in",Mrs. Hellen helped the girl's carry the stuff inside, " Did you get everything on the list?",she inquired,

"Yes we did",came the quick reply as the two girls rushed upstairs,"Hurry up,take a bath and come for dinner!!!",Mrs. Hellen ordered.

"Go in first! i'll be after ",Kylie suggested as she fell on the bed,stretched out her body...all that moving around really tired her out....she needed a relaxing warm bath just to cool down her nerves....

She then remembered the waist chain they bought

and was impatient to try it out,she removed it from the package,held it gently admiring its delicasy,bold silver colour and the white pear diamonds...."These must have cost a fortune,how come she gave it to me so easily ,yet the diamonds can buy this house or even more....maybe she was so impressed by my performance...good job Miss Gamoura!!! you earned yourself.....the title of Miss Tyte!!",she cheered as she placed the waist chain on her head and danced around the room,

"Seems like snow white is here to grant my wish!!",

Martha uttered jokingly as she stepped out the bathroom,"And what would that be my fine rose?"Kylie

played along,"My wish.... is to always see my sister's beautiful smile!..... even in the darkest of times!", Martha replied sweetly ,"That's very sweet of you, and am to have you as my sister" Kylie admitted ,

"Not as sweet as the loving sister right infront of me!.....am lucky to have you too...Kylie Gamoura do you take Martha Mageritta as your beloved sister? in sickness and health,in wealth and .....hardships?" Martha added causing her sister to tear up,"I do!", Kylie replied as a drop of tear rolled down,

"Haahaa...you're crying? why are you crying...that was just part of my play at school,but....i meant every word...",Kylie felt her heart heavy with all the emotions running wild when she remembered what her told her about her uncle.

Martha gave her sister a hug to comfort her.Though she wasn't the type to dwell so much on something,she was abit concerned for Kylie because most of the time she hides her struggles and suffers alone.

Time passed with the two love birds still cuddling until

suddenly, Kylie's hair suddenly started beaming brightly ,her hair is usually dark brown with a mixture of mahogany(reddish/purple-ish) but right now,it was emitting a strange amount of light,"You're hair's glowing!!!! ",Martha suddenly cried out,

"Not again?!!",Kylie exclaimed,Martha caught some strands of her hair, wrapped it around her hand and rubbed it against her cheek,"Wow,it's smooth and warm.....how do you keep your hair this smooth?,mine

....is the opposite of this! and it's so stressful!!!.... always washing it and combing!!...do you know how many times i have to comb this hair of mine before heading to school? the last i counted,it was like fifty times.... ",she murmured playfully,

"This is not the time for chit chat Martha! help me fix this before Papa gets home!",Kylie interrupted,she was afraid her uncle will find out,he warned her many times about messing with her hair,in this present world of theirs,people long forgot about these mysterious things but sometimes it was hard to control though he taught her ways of avoiding it, she was told to hold her breath for some time when she's very very emotional and excited and also wet the hair incase it occurs.

It was only the family members that knew about this condition of hers and it had to remain that way.

"Okay okay, breath in... and out five times",Martha instructed since she's the one who mostly helped Kylie,

Kylie did as instructed,five times in and out but to no avail,

"It is working,Martha!!",she cried,

"Try again",Martha suggested,Kylie tried again but still no change,

"Let me see....ok let's get you in the shower and wet that hair of yours",

At that point, Kylie took off her clothes in a hurry and ran to the bathroom as Martha grabbed a towel.

"Martha is it working??",Kylie asked feeling very anxious,"Hold on!!",Martha tried wetting the whole head but nothing seemed to work, ..."How come! the last time we did this,it worked instantly.....hmmm what to do...what to do...

"Kylie!",she called out,Kylie raised her head to look at her,"What are you feeling right now?",she asked

"What do you mean by that?",Kylie growled abit pissed,

"Just tell me!!...i think this continuous lighting is might

because of another feeling your expressing so tell me!",Martha voiced out,

On ther other hand,Kylie thought about what her sister said and it did make sense...that could be the only explanation for this,"Ok.....am feeling anxious but mostly scared",

"I see....well then,first clean up and meet me in the room",Martha said and later exited the bathroom.

In the room,Martha paced back and forth trying to think of something,they had to get out of this mess,luckily something popped out!

She sat on the bed,got the waist chain,this was her plan;

Later she heard Kylie open the door and activated the plan,"Have you tried it on yet? am sure it will look lovely on you",she complemented,

Kylie came out still puzzled about her hair only to hear

the silly question coming from her sister, yet their father is just minutes away from reaching home!

"Martha we don't have time....",

"You don't know how to wear it!!!!",Martha cut her off,

"What?", Kylie uttered out of confusion, " Here let me help you put on", Martha suggested as she walked towards Kylie to remove her towel,"Aaaaah!! am naked" ,Kylie screamed as she covered her front with her hands and tightened her grip on the towel,both the two girls were surprised by her sudden out burst,at that moment they both burst into laughter,

"Since when do you care about that!, huh?...",Martha

asked both amused and curious at the same time,

"This girl you see here is very mature so i wouldn't you seeing things that are not meant for you",Kylie said feeling abit shy,

"mmmhm!...so who is it meant for?",Martha fired an unexpected question that left Kylie's mouth open in bewilderment,she blushed hard and rushed to the closet to wear something inside,she wore her bra and pantie ,tied the towel around her waist and came back.

"Am done",she uttered,

"Okay....turn around",Martha then unclasped the chain and put it around Kylie's waist,

"There we go....done!",Martha said with a grin,

Kylie made her way to the dressing mirror to have a look,

"Wow!! it's glamourous!!!! i love it...great suggestion Martha!!!!",Kylie praised as she kept staring at the figure infront of her,she had the body of a to die for model,with her flawless skin and curves,booty,tiny waist and well moulded boobs,face of an angel,her beauty was to die for with her crystal brown almond eyes with a shade of green and seductive peachy lips.

All this while with their chattering taking place,Kylie had not realized her hair colour was back to normal except of course for Martha since this was her plan all along to divert Kylie's mind from the lighting shit.

"Kylie i think we should go down for dinner",Martha uttered catching Kylie's attention,"But my....hair!!!!! it's still...it stopped!!!....but how?",she asked with confusion very evident across her face,

"I had to get you to stop worrying so much and relax your mind with something else",Martha explained swiftly,

"So you mean all this was a diversion?",Kylie now realised the bracelet and all was a distraction,

"Yes,and it might also be useful next time.....now hurry up and we go! you mama when she gets pissed",

"Yeah i know",Kylie grabbed a flowered dress and wore it as quick as possible and they left the room.

"What took you guys so long?... never mind!!! come help me set this food on the table,your Dad's just outside,he will be in any time..",Mrs Hellen mentioned having the two girls rush to set things up.

"Thank God,we barely escaped,imagine if Papa found out...",Martha whispered,"Thanks to your brilliant idea!!i have to say, you were really good!!!",Kylie complimented her sister,

As soon the girls were done preparing the food so had the door opened, their father stepped in and they welcomed him with warm hugs,he went took a shower and joined his family for dinner.

The dinner was filled with joy through out as the girls told stories about their day and their parents seemed to be glowing and this had the two sisters grinning at the thought of their parents' never dying love for each other. The dinner ended with a closing prayer Mr. Will said for his family.

Later everyone was now preparing for sleep but Mr. and Mrs. Chung had had something more to add to the day,

"Kylie!!",they both called out,Kylie came with an extremingly worried look on her face,"You called for me?" was the only thing she could bring out,

"Yes we did,yesterday we received your qualification letter and yes you qualified for the job",Mr.Will announced,both the two parents seemed worried as they stared at Kylie awaiting her response,

Kylie started of with a sweet gentle smile having the two elders frown "I know that...Martha already told me, and don't blame her,am the one who forced her to tell me and am happy for this great opportunity,i can't let it go to waste coz there are many that didn't go through.....",she then paused,"Why that look on your faces? am really excited for this ,don't worry! and look!!! i even bought the dress you mentioned on the list..." ,Kylie the went and brought the package with the dress and removed the it out ,

The worried look on the elders' faces was replaced with astonishment,the dress was fabulous,

" Wow!!! it's so starning!! wasn't it expensive because am sure the money i gave you was less?",came the question from Mrs. Hellen,

"Well.... she sold it to us for half the price and also because we helped her out in the boutique!!!", Kylie stated joyously,

"I see, so it was a reward for your good work....ohhh! I almost forgot!!...the letter also mentioned about the reporting date....they will be expecting you next week,

so.....you have the rest of this week to yourself",Mr. Will added,

On hearing this Kylie was very relieved,she thought they would demand for the workers immediately,at

least now she has a week before her life changes, for better or worse she was willing to hold on to this opportunity.

She wished her parents a good night and dashed of to bed.

Reaching her her room she locked the door and fell on the bed where her sister was waiting for her,of course as expected,she told Martha everything,the girls gisted abit more and fell asleep,with all that happened through out the day,they were surely exhausted and needed rest...
